For any one watching that hasn't been back to Bangladesh in decades ... if village life isn't your cup of tea there are plenty of other things to do. I stayed in modern Dhaka the last time I went to Bangladesh and it was amazing. When I arrived in Sylhet a couple of days later, even Sylhet felt so different in comparison, let alone rural villages. There is something for everyone.

Yup I’ve been to many villages and stayed in Sylhet town for months before and Dhaka too varied options for everyone.
