I despise music fans like this. Shitting on how someone listens or perceives music is so childish. How many times have you heard the song, along with knowing most of Mac's other music or life, that puts this song in more perspective? Do you get every meaning of every song after one listen? Especially from artists, you are too familiar with? Very doubtful. Even if you did, it doesn't excuse being a condescending asshole, for no reason. The first half of the song is way more literal, and takes a few listens along with knowing Mac's life to fully understand. Makes me sad that Mac has fans such as yourself. But the world keeps spinning, I suppose. I'm just happy that anyone checks out Mac, how they do it, and what they get off of a first listen is irrelevant.
