The sound design is amazing!
It really is. I think some forget the impact of interesting and creative sound design.
Not to “give” anything away so (if you don’t want even a “possible” clue or theory…I’ll space this down lower)
Cage quoted that this villain “is a deranged Geppeto type” (the puppeteer that made Pinocchio for younger gen)
-he makes sadistic “puppets” out of the victims in the families-controlling them through the occult; like a “Manson” type
or maybe
-he makes demonic/possessed type dolls/puppets which through the occult, influence the families he sends them to towards an insane spiral of killing each other or tempted to kill
Cannot WAIT for this!
Oh that’s a real interesting theory, definitely would love that kind of spin on it.
