Hi chuchow, thank you for the comment. Sorry, this Ball Transfer Gimbal is not as a formal product at present. I had it made from custom-made at "Iguchi-Kiko inc" who is Japanese ball transfer maker. Ball transfer gimbal is 9292JPY (about $120, $1=77JPY) in Japan, and we have to make the attachment parts to a main part by myself. Although it is very expensive, considering that about the same image as "Steadicam Merlin" can be obtained, it is cheap.
@chuchow82 But the thing is that you'll have to find a replacement grip ball (the metal ball) with a threaded hole so that you can screw in the nut. Or if you have a drill machine or someone who does, drill the metal ball and thread it with the proper size of your choice.
@zelli63 Thank you for the comment. This animation is recorded using the "Hague Mini Motion-Cam (ball transfer gimbal ring)" . Please look at the following for details. watch?v=6xw42iStqfM
@chuchow82 Surely by custom-made, I think that it is too expensive. I hope, it mass-produce someday, and to try it many people. But I think The Hague's version is also good enough product. It must be maintained grease sometimes, I recommend that you try it. And, when you are no longer satisfied, to try other products. I had done so. >anyway i like your video Thank you, I'm very glad=) I will enjoy, as enjoyed by many people. Thank you. *this is Hague's version, Danjiri watch?v=ix2qG1AXlsI
@chuchow82 Yes, there are much cheaper ones. I think the author had it custom made. The one that I used is called Freebear C-5H (freebear.co.jp slash product slash freebear slash product04 dot html). I bought 2 of them for about 35-40 US dollars. This man made one with the ideas he got from people using the ball transfer unit. He lives in the US and bought the parts there. youtu.be slash AhNA9ranf4s (replace the "slash" with /)
@puccle1965 thanks for your reply ~!.. May i know what is the different compare this Ball Transfer Gimbal head and Hague's version? anyway i like your video shooting.. please make more video ~! i'm your loyal subscriber, support you !
@chuchow82 If you are thinking of building your own steadicam I'd also recommend using a ball transfer unit as a gimbal. I used a universal joint before but I just couldn't get the correct balance like the ball transfer. If you'd like to see how it worked out with my DIY steadicams, check out my videos also.
hi puccle did Hague Mini Motion-Cam come with Ball Transfer Gimbal Ring?? i am planning to get 1 from ebay...is about 100USD + please let me know where can i get the ball transfer gimbal ring? thanks

You manage to keep the camera very steady with no shake while walking and moving. Did you use some steady device?

@shuuuji さん☆
