Rob here, nice review. I basically agree. It’s a really nice strap, however, its expensive. It’s originally was meant as a dive strap at a time when dive watches were actually used for diving. You really do need a pretty substantial dive watch, it would overpower anything even moderately thin. A real Isofrane will say Isofrane and “made in Italy’ on the back. The buckle also says ‘Isofrane’”on the bottom, the top is sterile. There are very good copies available. The Toxicnatoes Magnum silicon strap is almost a 1:1 copy, except its silicon, for $35 I belive. Personally, I’m just not into colored straps, needs to be black for my purposes. Every watch I have that’s on a strap is black.
I put an orange one on my orange Planet Ocean and have no regrets about the purchase. I thought long and hard before making the purchase. My Planet Ocean is finally a part of my daily rotation! Nice review of a great strap.
I've always been curious about these, and thus really helped get an idea of why they're so popular. I can't see myself going for one at, but I can see why others might.
Hey! yep I think you need to really like the history and process udet to make them. I don't think I ever got quite there myself but I do love this one now
Fantastic straps. Isofrane is more than worth the price. They will last a lifetime and so comfortable on the wrist. I wear them on my Doxa and and my Aquadive.
I’m enjoying the podcasts Sam. Interesting strap. It would look absolutely awesome on an Orange Samuai. Hmmmm, not sure it, and the ultimate turtle are a match made in heaven.
Almost what I paid for my SKX so can't justify buying one, but understand it's nice to have the real McCoy. Got the SKX on a Watchgeko Tropic and it's been fine for the last six weeks.
Thanks for the review. Trying to decide between this and the OEM silicon strap for my Sinn UX. I'm leaning towards the isofrane as I've heard this is not s dust-lint magnet. BTW Watch Obsession sell them and they're £140 now. Still, half the price of the Sinn.
Agree with the color choices. Go loud. They are nice straps but I always had issues with the keepers moving around. If you haven't check out Barton elite silicone straps. They have a ridge on inside of keeper that keeps them from shifting around. Plus they are thinner so can fit smaller watches.
Nice review. Have been considering this for my Black Bay Fifty-Eight. I think the slab sides of the Tudor would hold up against the thickness of the Isoframe. Definitely faster to swap in than some of the "fitted" rubber straps from Vanguard or Rubber B. Not sure which color would complement the Fifty-Eight, maybe green or anthricite?
Yep they are easier to get on than the fitted one for sure. I can tell what anthracite would look like because their website is not that great. But that is the one I would have picked... I actually just sold my BB fifty Eight, I will make an upload about it!
Nice video. I guess it's just a matter of where you are in the watch collecting world. I can't see myself getting a very expensive watch, and that goes for straps too. So far, anything nice I have came with the watch, and all my other straps were inexpensive. Maybe I would be willing to get something like this if I had an expensive watch that seemed worthy of a higher quality strap.

Sam, Borealis makes the same strap for a mere $30. It’s vulcanized rubber. www.borealiswatch.com/store/Diver-Watch-straps-c43130105 And if you have trouble fitting the Seiko Fat Boy springbars, a touch of dishwashing liquid soap can aid them fitting in. But you can also buy 2mm springbars with 1.1mm tips on eBay from a seller named Outlet Goods. He offers high quality springbars for great prices. And they’re in the LA area, so shipping to you would be quick. And their springbars have shoulders, so much easier to install.
I know.... what about a strap changing tool. Even an alliexpress special has spring bars and a strap changing tool... and you need a few because they break so often 😂
I need to work on my sales skills! Yep, I'm glad I won one but happy I only had to pay the postage! these are cheap in comparison to the ones that come on Breitling watches, they are over $300
There are a bunch of equally as good and much less expensive options. The price for this is crazy!! Look at Borealis and also Deep Blue straps. No reason to pay this much!

Im very happy I have one now but i always questioned paying that much for one I have to say.
I find a tiny bit of washing up liquid lubricates the fat spring bars. They slide in easily.

Hey Jeffery, yep, I think the planet ocean is just the type of watch this strap belongs on!
Nice summer look with the orange.
I think so too!

Nice, thorough review. I keep my Omega Planet Ocean on an Isofrane and it feels perfect!
Very nice!
Fantastic straps. Isofrane is more than worth the price. They will last a lifetime and so comfortable on the wrist. I wear them on my Doxa and and my Aquadive.
Great review Sam and thank you to Robert for sharing this strap with us 👍
Glad you enjoyed it Jeffrey!
Got one on my Doxa 1200T, and worth every penny.
Yep i think that combination would look cool. I have been seriously looking at those Doxa watches!
I’m enjoying the podcasts Sam. Interesting strap. It would look absolutely awesome on an Orange Samuai. Hmmmm, not sure it, and the ultimate turtle are a match made in heaven.
hey Ray, yep the only watch i had that would take such a beast of strap 😂
Almost what I paid for my SKX so can't justify buying one, but understand it's nice to have the real McCoy. Got the SKX on a Watchgeko Tropic and it's been fine for the last six weeks.
I really like their Tropic straps, I have one in 20mm

Hey! Yep theses are very comfortable to wear.

Hey Ryan, yep I agree, I love those barton ones, I did mention them but very briefly
@@CasualWatchReviews oops my fault. Totally missed that. 😁
Excellent strap. I am fond of the Z22 strap from Seiko.
Yep they are comfortable the seiko ones.
Nice review, as usual!
Much appreciated Mike!
Great review Sam, excellent production quality. But the price on the straps...ugh.
Yep I see your point Tod!

Well said! i dont disagree. I think I'm more of a watch strap collector these days than a watch collector!
@@CasualWatchReviews 😂😂😂
do the bright colour end up blackened after a while?
It didn’t for me but I didn’t wear it for that long
Nice strap I bought one but never again due to price
Get a helm on amazon FKM rubber not as comfortable but at 30 bucks well worth it
I put one of these on my blue dial stainless steel bezel 'submarine' Vostok Amphibian.
Karl that would work I think, and be interesting to have a strap worth more than the watch it was on!
Thanks for the review. The price made me gasp. :P
Its certainly an investment.... surprising not the most expensive rubber straps you can buy, I think a new breitling one is over $300
Nice strap but just saying, Get an Uncle Seiko, Just as good and over half price less.

I may check them out, thanks for the heads up Steve
I mean damn can I get some spring bars for my $140. Btw I know you can get slim fat spring bars from Uncle Seiko and others.
I know.... what about a strap changing tool. Even an alliexpress special has spring bars and a strap changing tool... and you need a few because they break so often 😂
may I ask HOW BIG your wrist is?
7.2 inch!
C'mon - in this day and age - $140 for a rubber strap no matter how good it looks/works is completely unrealistic
I need to work on my sales skills! Yep, I'm glad I won one but happy I only had to pay the postage! these are cheap in comparison to the ones that come on Breitling watches, they are over $300
I agree, I be damn if I would spend 139.00 on these things.
SMDH

Unless you really like the history, the rubber compound I would sy really does feel very good quality. Its all personal preference of course!
ouch $140 for a rubber strap no thanks
I need to work on my sales skills 😂
