Splatoon 3 2022
Its so cool now we can call DedF1sh Acht, as in the Side Order trailer.
This sure did bring back subtle memories of watching the original crush 14, when I was getting into splatoon, almost like the memories returned cause of the one Squid Sister's hit song Calamari Inkantation.
Seeing eight blush was cute like she had an original crush on her, before her and three became really close.
So naturally I enjoyed it deeply in it's wholesomeness and comical tune. ♥️💚💛💙

I actually found this comic a great while ago, I wasn't really interested in Splatoon at that time, so I just went by. But seeing it now I just love it!
Also, seeing Dedf1sh and Eight being their adorable selves together was something I didn't knew I needed today.

My first words were upon seeing this was "NO WAY!" It's cool seeing you dubbing this comic dub, it's interesting to see you branching in technique from listing the BGM you are using to the over all "extra" dialogue between 8 and F1sh. The transition from each ask is also kinda charming in it's own way. Nice work as usually Yume keep on being you :D

FUN FACT:
Deadf1sh actually wanted to be sanitized, they wanted to devote themself entirely to their music, though they were only partially santitized so they would still have consciousness. That's why their tentacles have a little bit of red on them.
I'll admit: I squee'd a bit when I heard some of the Lucky Star music cues in this. ^^

I came here from the comments of the song #14 crush, my favorite dedf1sh track to this day. As much as I know this ask blog isn't canon, the idea of the inkantation bringing dedf1sh's emotions back sounds like it entirely fits within the story, which i like because dedf1sh is my favorite artist.

Well, I may have missed the premiere, but that doesn't wear away any of the adorableness this dub provided. Eight being more sassy was a treat, and Dedf1sh's voice really captures the mature, yet shy state of mind that she seems to own. While I find it sweet that the Inkantation broke through to her, #8 Regret is cut in multiple places, where dedf1sh is implied to have used the Inkantation herself. It was censored so the subjects wouldn't get too hopeful.

This comic still holds up and is what started my love for the green girl Dedf1sh (or Acht now) being on of if not my favorite character in splatoon
The only sad thing about this is that this means in all other AU’s (including the cannon games) Deadf1sh exists but hasn’t been saved yet
