Loved this video! Thanks for sharing. If I am growing a Sago Palm inside of my yoga studio, in a pot - should I do the same thing you did? There are two new fronds that popped up but I don't like the way they look! and I really don't want to shed the larger more developed parts of the plant. Any feedback would be helpful. Thanks!
Hello and thanks for the question. I am not sure if you are saying that you want to leave the old fronds and remove the new fronds? I would not suggest removing the new growth and keeping the old…. You can keep both or cut off the old. If I misunderstood you then please ask again. Burke 🙂
I’ve spent several hours working on them already, but without any knowledge of the proper way to treat them. Your videos have been so helpful! There’s still much work to do on ours, but after watching your videos, I’m excited to get back out there. One of them is about 8 feet tall and hasn’t been cared for in many years.
Hey Emily, glad you found the videos and they helped in some way. I am located in Southern Ca. Ventura County. Thanks for watching and thanks for your interest in this cool plant!! Burke

Do you ever share where you’re located? I have several large sago palms and would love to learn how to better care for them!

I seen Japanese growers induce sagos to produce double heads any idea how they do it ? I would love to try it on my sagos
Hello, that is news to me. I have not heard of how it’s done. If you find out, please let me know.
Thanks,
Burke
