Hadee Lone I read ya sentence wrong, there happens to be a card named Disperse and I thought you said that. Yeah, dispersal is a decently common card so I feel like you'd lose from someone casting it somewhat often.
The 5 colour Lich's Mastery I've seen floating around, with Mirari Conjecture, Chance for Glory, Mastermind's Acquisition and Banefire seems more viable and less painful to close out once you go off

I love that card, lich mastery. Love the art, name and all of it. I have faith in it lol, need to buy one now which is probably cheap just to have it. Maybe it can be a thing one day with some combo in EDH, no idea
Can someone help? I enjoy building green decks, more or less. Im happy when im playing with creatures. How do i answer a deck like this? And its seems the instants and sorceries that give all creatures indestructible are now out of rotation. I know control is real strong right now, but how would i stay afloat with a creature heavy deck with decks like this?
Your best bet is just trying to get as much damage in as fast as possible and hope to dodge a timely sweeper. More carddraw like Beast Whisperer and Vivien could provide more creatures to recover from all the removal. You can eventually force them to sacrifice permanents when they have Mastery in play.
@@LegenVD thanks so much for the reply, really appreciate it. I do run beast whisperer and vivien, and could stand to run one more whisperer. Dawn of Hope has the advantage of both functioning as a card draw engine and a finisher. A pure token maker would only help close out the game and doesn't help in the initial phase, so it would be a bad card in our opening hand.

Don't take this as an absolute, but I've read an article that says drafting doesn't really gain you all that much, especially if you're bad at it. It suggested that the best way to go about it would be to focus your efforts on one particular deck you really like and use the gold from the daily quest and wins to enter constructed events (500g entry). Regardless of how many you win, or even if you don't win a single game, you get reimbursed some (or all if you win enough) of your gold and you get some additional cards. Needless to say, in order to do well in constructed, you're going to need at least one decent deck but there are plenty of cheap deck ideas out there that hold their own in competitive play. That way, you expand your card roster without losing too many precious income resources. At 500g per entry, this is the cheapest way to learn how to play the game while still getting some cards for your efforts. Once your library has expanded to a point where you can create multiple decent decks and you feel like you have a better grasp of the game in general, you can start adventuring into the other game modes more and more. But again, take this as a suggestion and not an absolute. Some people love drafting simply because of the concept of creating your own deck from scratch and seeing how it holds up against those of others. If it's pure value you're looking for, you're probably gonna wanna stay away from drafting for a bit until you build up your collection and knowledge of the game some.
I would recommend trying to get better at drafting. Drafting teaches you a ton of lessons in how to play magic and will make you a better overall player. If you get the hang of it and just don't like limited then by all means jam constructed events/buying packs, but I think you should give drafting a good shake if for no other reason than to make you a better player.
@@Xylarxcode Drafting is the best way to build your collection. You should only play quick draft and even if you go 0 wins you still make profit as a new player. Constructed event is great to farm gold but not the best way to build a collection. I am playing since a month and I put 50€ in packs which was a huge mistake imo. I mostly play CE and I only have 2 good budget decks to play so I would not say CE is the fastest way

This deck seems incredibly cool but some interactions in mtga are still far too clunky. Like thousand year storm and all the animations, ajani dude who gets +1/1 when you gain life (esp. with two or more in play), and dawn + azor
They should allow people to select cards they want to allow auto resolve. So like the enemy can select 'auto resolve' on your dawn. Or even have it in the in-game settings, like an auto-resolve section full of cards you want to allow or disallow auto resolve
The main downside of this deck - insta concede against any deck with counterspells, you won't jam mastery against control so your main combo - gain life with mastery won't work
no one prevents you from running counterspells in this deck, counter the counter, besides you should be running counterspells anyway since there are at least 3, possibly more cards which are instant loss for Lich when they resolve
It's an interesting deck, but I'd never want to play it. The fact that you have 0 counterspells in your deck means you're basically guaranteed lose to anyone with Cleansing Nova or Discovery/Dispersal in their deck (both commonly-played cards) and the possibility of losing like that and having nothing you can do about it would drive me nuts.
The Gateway is just soooo slow... 4 Banefires would probably accelerate the games by 2-3 times, since you would only need 2-3 of them for a kill without any mana from Gates, and they are uncounterable unlike Gate which can be countered or destroyed at any time
