Excellent point abt not cutting holes for fittings too early. I made that mistake and was forced to cover a misaligned hole. I am amazed @ the new glues and processes since I last covered anything.

Does it matter which way the weave on the fabric is going?

Hi Dennis, Excelents videos. Can I know which Glue do you use? I am a Spanish, from Madrid, aeromodelers and loves this type of wings. Thanks and Regards

aeroglow Hi! The glue is Stewart Systems Eco Bond. The clips are not actually mine. Stewart systems made them theirselves. I just cropped them to shorten them and organize them.

    Hello,
After watching their videos I will use the stewarts system to fill in my J-3, but I have 2 questions:
1.- What is the name of the fabric that is placed on the leading edge?
2.- Is it not necessary to give an epoxy primer to the entire aluminum structure before covering it?
    Thanks in advance

Hi Pedro, please check at Stewart Systems. I only cut up their movies to make it easier to watch.

It looks to me a lot like tile setter's waterproofing for tile backer board. One brand is Maipei. Another is Aqua defense. Those systems use a fabric for waterproofing shower pans and surrounds.
