There probably never be another duo like those two, it was at the right place and at the right time that they started their careers in WWF in 1996.
There have been plenty of other incredible rivalries in WWE over the years. Hogan vs Savage, Bret vs Shawn, Triple H vs Foley. Rock vs Austin was arguably the best, but I doubt it will be the last.

Honestly yeah Austin & Rock were the biggest reasons but let's not forget to give credit to Triple H & Undertaker who played massive roles as heels and are huge reasons why wwe survived on top of the Austin/McMahon feud. It was always a combination of those 5 that kept the company alive for sure mixed in with a exceptional midcard roster as well. Wrestling will never be that stacked top to bottom ever again

I think theres 3 guys who were wwfs heavy hitters who were instrumental in wwf being better and that austin, the rock and the undertaker. Had we never had undertaker in wwf at that time it would of never created kane. Taker doesnt get enough credit for his huge part in wwe's success in the attitude era.

I'd wish that someone should do the same to Roman Reigns's title belts like stealing from him and throwing them into the river like how Stone Cold Steve Austin did to the aforementioned Intercontinental title in 1997, because those looked like trash and WWE would have no choice but to either merge the two titles or simply retire the Universal Championship 'cause what's the damn point of introducing it in the first place, and simply leave the WWE Championship.
