      The record previously run but could not be ratifide cos of the incompetence of the JAAA regarding drug testing. So happy for the team. The JA women are still at thr fore of sprints until the men have a real contender. Seville could be the future given time to develop - where are the men. Usain left a massive legacy for the male athletes. The rest of the world has seen this.

      I’m glad you mentioned coach Dyke. Can we talk about the amazing work he did with the Clayton twins, Kevona, Levell , and the host of others. I am not talking only about champs title but his overall conditioning of the athletes physical, and mental development. Well done coach Dyke, I do hope you will be acknowledged for your contribution.

      @@karenhiggins683 He's more than a coach hes like a father❤ not talking from his track accomplishment but being a student of EAHS interacting with athletes he train, they all respect n look up to him! & trust me the girls ARE NOT EASY TO HANDLE! What most wouldnt know he also secure their education! If an athlete slow him repeat them so they can secure atleast 5 subjects to get scholarship overseas, he communicates with them & know who's not interested in taking athletics seriously most just want the opportunity & he respects their view! HES MORE THAN A COACH! he deserves his flowers ❤mr Powell train Levell. Mr Dyke only train the girls.

      So far it’s been only the girls at both the U2 and senior levels. The men on the other hand are just meh at the U20, and suck at the senior level with the exception of Parchment and Seville

      It's women sprinters at 100m & 200m & the 110m mens hurdles with McLeod (2016) & Parchment (2020).
      The male sprinters are a no show after Bolt just like before him.

    Imagine they ran a similar time in Kingston at Carifta. That world record was not upheld. Regardless the same team with the exception of Hill and now they have the recognised world record. Despite man's actions, God not sleeping. This was more than destiny it was engraved in stone. Congratulations ladies. Thank you for the wonderful Diamond Independence gift. Black, Green and Gold! 🇯🇲

    Really trying to say this as nice as I can without pointing fingers. I notice that this was edited. The original commentary didn't mention the U20 record until the other commentator jumped in and said it because the focus was all over the place. Not to mention the lack of excitement in the voice. This is not gulf. Athletics is already a struggling sport the commentary can't be a turn off. There are commentators who are electric and keep things interested from all over the world.

    The Jamsicans have a faster legal time in the U20 4 x 100m of 42.58 set in Jamaica at the Carifta Games but unfortunately wasn't ratified because of technicalities with drug testing. Missing from this team is Brianna Lyston who won the 200m. She being in that team would have most likely produced a faster time barring any mishaps with baton exchanges. Well done young ladies.

      Jamaica's embarrassment of female junior sprinting talent on show. Jamaica places first and third in the 200m at these games, with both athletes Brianna Lyston and Alana Reid running below 23 seconds and none of them ran on this record breaking team.

      @@elmo3094 The final of the 200m was just hours before the 4 x100 finals. Those two young ladies in the 200m would not have recovered enough to run on the 4 x100m. The four young ladies who ran were already the world record holders.

    It was Tia on the last leg not Tina. Tina always run the second leg. Plus the twin that ran the last leg hair is bleached/ coloured at the front unlike Tina who won the 100m

      @@bmw5968 the U20, like the seniors at the World Championship, had all the ingredients for a world record run and they delivered. The baton went around smoothly and they executed to not only win but break the world record, twice even. The seniors can take a tip or two from the “juniors”.

      @@bmw5968 I can appreciate that but my only issue is that we are not talking about amateurs, people who don’t know or not accustomed doing this. This are professionals, they are also accustomed to pressure and aside from Nelson, they have done this together a number of times before. It was just a shame the seniors didn’t capitalise on the opportunity to seal the Championship in the history with a world record. I still support them fully though and not putting the blame on any one person.

    Congratulations Jamaica you all did well as always ...... on a very huge note the way Columbia was given more presentation time over the champions was ridiculous.....They spent more time showing the Colombian team after the race.....The Cali2022 official Instagram page took it to a whole other level by showcasing the Colombians celebrating and their receiving of medals but not the Jamaican team ......
