I am a long time user of the Artristic easel...in fact, I have three of them.... An original design, a desktop version and this current model. I no longer use my A or H frame easels....to me, those are now "old school" compared to this innovative and unique easel design. I bought my first Artristic easel direct from the Aussie inventor, Tony Barber. At that time, he was assembling them in his car garage. We have since, become great friends. In the early days, we spent many hours on the phone, discussing the functionality and possible improvements that would further enhance the design. The easels are now manufactured - under strict guidelines - in China. Any artist, who desires an easel, that is both multifunctional and easy to use, should give one of these a try.. they will not be disappointed. - Cheers 🎨
Thank you for a detailed video. I have been considering investing in one. I have a home-studio and this would be perfect. I love that it takes boards since I work a lot with Pastels and watercolours, ocassionally Canvas .
I have one of these, but haven't used it in quite a while b/c I thought you were suppose to screw those knobs into the canvas which is difficult for me - arthritis in the hands .... now I want to paint more on panels, so you demoed how to do this, but it wasn't up close, will try to figure it out. Thanks for doing this presentation :)
How sturdy is a canvas when attached to one of these? I have been thinking about trying the easel adapter but it seems like a canvas would be a little unstable while applying paint to outside areas of the work. Thoughts?
@@annfuller714 if you want to use paper on any easel, what you need to do is get a piece of plywood board and piece of masonite. Then you just the paper to the masonite, we do this also with canvas that has not been mounted to a stretcher frame.

Is it made of good material? Not cheap plastic?
Is it 90 angle relative to the face or does it have a tilt?
What is the biggest size of canvas this easel can carry? Thanks!
I’m interested in buying one!😍
