BRETHREN HELP ME IN THIS MATTER: I have been born again for over 20 years. I have walked with God consistently well to date without ever falling away. I pray daily and read the Bible most days. Recently a thought came to my mind. When I got born again I was by myself in a room. I don't remember exactly how I prayed to receive Christ that day. So today I decided that just in case I did not pray right to invite Christ into my life the day I got born again (as stated in Romans 10:9-10), I will now go ahead and pray the salvation prayer as stated in Rom 10:9-10. Immediately I finished the prayer new though hit my mind. I began wondering what this would mean regarding the salvation I knew I had all along. I wondered if my prayer 'cancelled' my first salvation. I wondered what this means spiritually. Fear seized me - I am now left wondering if I have done something terribly wrong before God. Help me resolve this matter in my spirit. I feel tattered.
