I did have a full-time offer when applying but it actually fell through a few months before decisions came out. I do think it can help with your applications when you are telling your story, but it is definitely not necessary.
Hey, I am also going to apply for deferred adm next year, can you give me some tips on extracurricular activities like leadership, volunteering which makes impact, etc.
Thanks for the comment. I would say there is no perfect experience/combination. My advice would be that it is better to serve in a few significant roles than a much of minor roles. Meaning I would say it looks better to be President of one organization, than a general member of five.
Hey, if somebody has gap years after secondary school and is not studying undergrad at a very prestigious institution. What is something that needs to be done to make it to deferred mba? Also, which major is better wrt doing a deferred mba? BA(economics), BBA or bsc(computer science). Please do reply!!
email the schools that you are applying to strictly about the gap years. Please let me know what they say. As far as I know, as long as you are a senior, meaning your last year undergrad. You are eligible.
A **normal MBA** program is designed for professionals with several years of work experience, offering an immediate opportunity to advance their careers. In contrast, a **deferred MBA** program targets high-achieving recent graduates or early-career professionals, allowing them to secure a spot in an MBA program early and gain work experience before starting their studies. I do have a video on these programs as well you can check out.
Thinking of applying to deferred MBAs next cycle. Good stuff man
Always a good option! Best of luck!

Hey Maxwell! Great video. I was wondering if you had a full-time job/job offer at the time of your applications and if you believe it is important>
