Point Pleasant Beach enforcing curfew to crack down on disorderly teens

Police in one Jersey Shore town are cracking down on late-night loitering. Point Pleasant Beach is now enforcing a 10 p.m. curfew for anyone under the age of 18. CBS New York's Nick Caloway has more on what's being done there.

Well that sounds awfully vague and toothless. IF they are disorderly (your interpretation) they CAN be asked to leave. That ought to scare them away.

What happens if a 17 year old is with an 18 year old? Can they both stay out, or do both have to go back in at 10PM? What is the age to supervise or chaperone anyone under 18? 18, 21, or 25?

I agree! Kids should be inside by 10 pm. EVERYONE needs to obey the laws. Even residents..
