He's apparently absolutely hilarious and funny to work with. Both the office and the silicon valley cast praised him for his improvisation and natural hilarity. I love that guy, he definitely fucks
+Penny Lane I always wondered if he was that awkward in real life as he is in the show! I thought in real life he would have been some type of deep-voiced alpha male type!
+hurkamur1 It's a toss up for me. Bachmann is just pure unbridled genius that it's between those two. But in all fairness, I think all characters are hilarious
hurkamur1 yeah I had to pause it and take a deep breath because I couldn't stop laughing. But the best moment from Bachmann is when he goes to confront the kids who gave Richard fake adderall in season 1. It's pure gold.
+Starving Boy In Africa looks don't tell you anything about a person. While i agree, they might be right, they are a poor way to judge a person in any way
Escribodedibo Not necessarily true, a homeless looking man could be a professor at a distinguished university. Looks only tell you what you wish to see from your own perspective. The way someone looks and the way you judge them are solely based on your perspective. How you view wonemans appearance could be completely different from how another man views the same appearance
+Rohail Sindhu And what are the odds of a homeless looking man being a professor as opposed to a homeless looking man being homeless? While you shouldn't judge someone solely based on their looks, it is one of the worst perpetuated myths out there that looks have no bearing on the character of a person.
+Ŧ he means like Zach is so much similar to his character Gabe that its hard to not see him as anybody else but Gabe from the office and I completely agree haha
+Wilbur Jenkins One of my favorite moments of the entire show is when he finally gets back to the hotel, someone says something to him, and he says, "excellent point, David."
I loved him on the American version of the Office. Of all the "newer" cast members, he was the best. I think he's the sleeper hit of any project he's a part of. With Silicon Valley he stays under the radar with this gentle, milquetoast demeanor, but the real flashes of brilliant one-liners during the season are all him. He does an amazing job as the straight man flashing glimpses of an insane past. He's definitely the star character of season 5 so far.
It's weird how when the series started I didn't care for his character but as the show progressed I was worried whether the next episode would have enough of Jared's airtime
"He says that she has an Amy Winehouse vibe. What does that mean? All tatted-up and nowhere to go." "hooked on oxycotin?" jared - "decomposing...oh wait thats just dark"
I was lucky enough to see him at Upright Citizens Brigade in 2009. I recognized him as the political operative from that obscure British movie "In the Loop". It was the best improv show I've ever seen.
He's so sweet and by the sound of it still the most normal guy among the cast. Also very talented with the trumpet and...doesn't watch the show??? He's the glue that holds their crazy train together! Also doomed to be the last tenant in the incubator...
Silicon Valley is an upbeat version of The Office. I can understand why folks can relate more with The Office, but as a computer engineer myself I find SV just absolutely spot on with the work environment shenanigans.
I had the chance to meet Zach Woods and his Silicon Valley co-star Martin Starr at SXSW 2 years ago, and they were both super nice to my boyfriend & I. Just wanted to make that known. Cool dudes.
He's apparently absolutely hilarious and funny to work with. Both the office and the silicon valley cast praised him for his improvisation and natural hilarity. I love that guy, he definitely fucks
+Mr. Tulip "...he definitely fucks." Is this a new saying that I'm not familiar with?
+gazcan1 its from the show, silicon valley
im in love with him
I loved him on The League as a hipster DJ that goes to 3rd world countries to spin for poor people
It is from the show that this video is referencing.
hes not acting hes actually jared
I have cut the edge Now I am edge itself He's original Jared
thomas is actually richard
*Donald
Better than being actually Gabe 👍
I have cut the edge Now I am edge itself best comment on the internet
This guy is literally his character in real life
+Harsha Ramesh His character is evolving into him, kind of. Zach is a great improv performer, as awkward as he may seem on there.
Right?!? I was so happy, it seems like he has the same nerdy sense of humor in real life. I see many successful roles in his future.
Especially since his character is a exaggeratation of his mother
Yeah him and gilfoyle are playing their own selves !
Exactly what i thought. Gilfoyle chances into whatever he wants
This guy absolutely steals every scene in Silicon Valley
Ronin5B and he fucks
jeebs621 he's the one who does all the fucking
You wanna dance on the black top homie?
He's so delightfully awkward, I love him!
+Penny Lane he looks like a serial killer........thats cool
+Penny Lane I always wondered if he was that awkward in real life as he is in the show! I thought in real life he would have been some type of deep-voiced alpha male type!
Thank you :)
Dude is seriously the funniest character on the show.
agreed
The joke before he tripped xD
+hurkamur1 It's a toss up for me. Bachmann is just pure unbridled genius that it's between those two.
But in all fairness, I think all characters are hilarious

"Go away skeleton man" lol he's even more awkward in real life, love it lol
That guy fucks..
Bold move, making an Office reference on a Silicon Valley video
You had 666 likes so I didn't like it to keep it perfect
@@gouravgagan706 haha

he seems like what i imagine a triangle would be like if it could talk
Grace L I must let you I found your comment most delightful and accurate
More like conjoined triangles
Why do I relate to this. 😬
Wild imagination.
You have some fun type of synesthesia.
Man this guy seems so likeable it's pretty rare!
+P.M Me Your Kitty! watch the office
Thay guy fucks!!
Only in Hollywood
I guess his acting is like Schrodingers Cat. He is both great and terrible until he watches Silicon Valley.
Nice xD
Genius comment
2000 iq
Really wish more people could read and understand the comment and tbe context 😂
But by that logic everyone attending an open casket funeral is a murder.
Zach Woods seems like a genuinely likable guy. And despite not playing for often, he still made the trumpet sound pretty good.
+DrivenMind lol, you're very nice, but that trumpet did not even come close to approaching my standard for "pretty good."
I mean he's not Miles Davis or Chet Baker, but I thought it was okay considering he said he hadn't played in years.
lol jesus christ, what a dick
What a fine, off-based opinion you have there.
Just imagine your body is your house :D
that way I'm always home
A very articulate man. Sign of wisdom and smartness.
+Starving Boy In Africa what does the way you look have to do with being articulate.?
+Starving Boy In Africa looks don't tell you anything about a person. While i agree, they might be right, they are a poor way to judge a person in any way

He should be winning Emmys for his role on the show.
I was thinking the same but now I see he's not playing a role
@@daandemeyer1708 he's a living example of acting funny your whole life, that's dedication 😁
This guys is the most normal actor ever!!
+633r And he also fucks.
yes, yes he does!
yeah that guy that guy fucks.
he acts like Jared in real life too
Especially compared with TJ Miller
Jared in character, Jared in real life
+lakemaster ex They all are, it's pretty funny actually.
Except for baghead. Hahahaha. He's actually a harvard graduate
"Oh, what instrument do you play? The trumpet? Oh, look!!!! I happen to just have one behind the couch. How convenient".
Chris Lester Yes, its almost like it's a..show
"You're a dead man but I don't have time to convince you" is genius lmfao
omae wa mou, shindeiru
I read this as soon as the part played!
Jared plays a pretty good Zach Woods.
I watched this guy do improv once, he pulled off a really good Abe Lincoln
+Charlie “Ablueelf” David what show was that?
+Kyle Blackmon the office haha I was joking (;
hahahaha
Wait... That WASN'T Abe Lincoln?!
Will forever remember him as Gabe from The Office
He played the role of Gabe...
+Ŧ he means like Zach is so much similar to his character Gabe that its hard to not see him as anybody else but Gabe from the office and I completely agree haha
John Sal no someone made a different comment (that was deleted), I wasn't referring to Cinemaniac.

+Ŧ uhhh uhhh Ciao!
"I played trumpet"
The band's response is so cute

Probably one of the few videos on the internet where everyone's showing love.
Zach Woods is adorable. I hope he watches the show one day to see how cool he is.
Ewww.
Nice reaction to my comment. You go girl
Wtf you on about. Damn Tudors.
hitler actually played the bassoon so technically hitler was the hitler of music
And "painted" I heard.
If this guy could pull off a maniacal laugh, he would be a PERFECT comic book joker. The face is on point and so are the mannerisms.
He'd be a much better scarecrow
i think he would be a great Riddler
It's like hugging a skeleton
youre hugging himself
he looks like a frightened owl. with no eyebrows

Why did I laugh so hard 😂😂😂

it must amazing to have improv class with him he is such a genuine and sincere guy!
I've never seen such an engaging interview. Even the audience was listening very intently too. ❤️
I wish I could be his friend. He's so nice and funny.

He looks like Matt bomber before he stepped into the captain America machine
What a decent human being.

I like his character; he's the classic naive yet loyal and ethical friend you can always trust
The words 'trumpet'/'trumpeter' will never sound the same after this election.
And here I thought all these years that he was just playing a character as Gabe in the office...
Zach doesn't watch the show. Ed Chambers does
My mother is also overly empathetic and I also have issues with self confidence and anxiety. This guy fucks.
'This guy fucks' is pretty much the best fandom catchphrase ever.
