I want to see more SparkNotes video summaries like The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton, The Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens, Treasure Island by Robert Louis Stevenson, The Island of Dr. Moreau by H.G. Wells, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde by Robert Louis Stevenson, Moby Dick by Herman Melville, Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Seas by Jules Verne, and Animal Farm by George Orwell.
With respect, get these kids to read Schopenhauer, Cioran, and anything pertaining to existential introspection/identifying logical fallacies. All of which I never learned in highschool, wasn't taught in college, and accidentally found long after I had finished these programs. Good luck to you.
I'm surprised to hear that these topics weren't taught in your college because I have taught both the logical fallacies in my logic class and certain existentialist authors in my intro class at a community college.
@@mattcat83Please don't take this personally: Invariably, the one four leafed Loch Ness Sasquatch unicorn leprechaun always seems to show up in my threads to say "I did"/"I am, so you're wrong, and obviously the opposite is true and ubiquitous, because I exist, have been around for d e c a d e s, and have taught thousands of children!". If you did, then you are a factor so small that it's barely measurable, and all one has to do is walk around in America to see that the Prussian system is at its highly tuned apex. Again, respectfully, if the overwhelming majority of Americans had the capacity and/or training to existentially introspect or think critically (in any substantive way), then things like Twitter wouldn't be as popular as they are, and people like Marx/Engles would be exposed for the truth by assertion fallacies that they are (just 2 examples, I'm not trying to beat anyone up over this. I'm glad you are teaching logic. Then please, for the love of the gods, get bigger and reach more people).
Lauren, have you perhaps moonlighted as an adult film actress? If so how was the transition into a career making RUclips videos? If not, my sincerest apologies.
I don't like Sparknotes, I always rewrite both the book and the story, to dodge the mutual trap. That's where Sparknotes is from; someone took Cliffnotes, and removed the bullet point list, to use a quintessential form of essay; however, the first and fifth of the paragraphs, were condensations, not simplifications. Versus Soul Caliber, a fighting game guide, beaten by using Cervantes as a holds grapple. Or the "Dummies Guide", a tutorial system, removed by placing career before part time job, the Dummies informing an alternative career path as a building exercise to build a corporate IPO to an NYSE bank. Man of La Mancha is the easiest; you place yourself, as tense, and the other individual, as tense, so you mutually relax, and boot Sancho Panza from the party after he farts in your face.
Why did you guys stop doing illustrated videos??
ikr
