I don't know how it is in the Pixel Remasters, but Toad/Mini and Warp/Teleport are absolutely bonkers in the GBA games. They essentially inflict instant death while not being Death elemental, but Matter elemental. There are only 36 enemies in total over both the main game and Soul of Rebirth that resist or absorb Matter element, and none of them are the optional bosses in Pandemonium. A good portion of these are either undead (which can be beaten with Life), have some other exploitable weakness or are just vulnerable to good old physical violence.
Teleport was nerfed in pixel remaster but the boost update helps way more. No needing to grind excessively and you can double shield to boost unarmed and shields which helps ultima as no magic interference penalty. Was fun making a playlist, let alone seeing the game be intuitive for once and if you need more cheese, turn off encounters to get holy and mysidia equipment once you can afford it, with quadruple growth/gil.
I honestly didn't bother levelling or even teaching spells like Mini, Toad or Break. Their all pretty much just Death Spells. I just Learned Death and that was pretty much it.
The PR games have a feature in the Bestiary that let you rebattle any enemy that you encountered with your current party. You can change the enemy’s formation too.
Appreciate this I was grinding to see them all so I know exactly how much time this took

How can you play with this music on? Its so good all my attention goes to listening to the orchestra and i cant keep watching the screen
