Seen you there and really wanted to stop n chat! Same reason you stated, thank you for everything you do!! But you were always surrounded by 6 or 8 people so never got the chance. You're definitely noticed.
Put the tiny lure in front of your fully opened hand and auto focus will have a greater chance of grabbing what your trying to show ( I know your rolling your eyes at me LOL). Love your videos, I just start back into fishing at 56yrs old and your videos are a great educator.
Tom, so good to meet you at the show and my two boys were excited to get home and watch you on the tv. I really enjoy watching your channel because it allows me follow my passion even though I don’t always have time to make it out on the ice. Safe travels and tight lines. All the best, cory.
Thank you for always putting it in a simple down to earth way to fish. Truly professional and always positive. And you hang with a great class of friends.
Forrrgett that! I wish I could ice fish 100% of the year, and just steelhead fish the rivers at the same time. Lol love crappie, calicoes… eyes and big perch on the ice👌
Hi Tom, Just watched your video from St Paul. I'm heading to Cabela's anyway, so thanks for the tips. No ice just north of Madison, but I'm chomping at the bit. Jeff
You should have them do some 2 piece rods. Maybe a couple different tips? Lets face it, most of us dont have a snowmoblie to carry a rod coffin. Good stuff as always Tom!
It’s harder to feel the crappie bite on a limp rod, longer rod imo… it’s more comfortable to fish though, and yes, you do loose LESS fish but I don’t like the feel. They look great though. I have too check them out
Like your vids, so informative on how to catch more fish, also how you let us ice fisherman know what bait or tackle you are using and how your presenting it, hats off to you keep up the great fishing!!!
I need a little help. I am about to turn 70 and for ONCE in my life I want to buy a really good rod. I fish in Lake Roosevelt in Washington and the depths are often 120-160 feet deep and we jig right on the bottom. Sometimes we need 1 full oz to get down there. Tom, What rod do I need for that Med heavy?? I am looking at rods such as St Croix Legend Extreme catagory. I want something absolutely top end. What do I need?
Another great video and I do like the Acme products but the Hyper-Rattle 2 or 2.5 is impossible to find ever since you made the video using them it's very frustrating that they had them in stock and less than a few hours they sold out of them. Could you please bend they're ear and find out what is going on with them. It's a 10 hour drive for me to get to the show or otherwise the rep wouldn't like what I had to say.
Real seats ad wait which takes away sensitivity that's why you never see them on your custom high end ice fishing rods nothing wrong with taping they sale a nice tape you can buy
Tom, you mention using 7ft 3inch med light fast rod for jigging/rigging live bait and 7ft 6inch med light extra fast for slip bobber rigs. Can you use the 7ft 6inch for both live bait jigging/rigging live bait and slip bobber rigging? Looking to use one rod for both or do you really need 2 different rods? Thanks for the awesome content on each video!!
Looks like I need to spend more money with Acme. Like the look of those tungsten Kastmaster, and if it’s recommended by Tom , that’s good enough for me. Appreciate all the videos. Always learning.
I think that’s the worst part of that jigging rap style bait.. the soft tail. I want a lure that’s going to last ten years and look thinking how many fish I’ve caught on it, retire it to the Looking box and non fish able box for stories and just memories… I want it in a hard tail…

Nothing like waking up to a gear review from Tom and driving to scheels 😁
Forrrgett that! I wish I could ice fish 100% of the year, and just steelhead fish the rivers at the same time. Lol love crappie, calicoes… eyes and big perch on the ice👌
I learn more from Tom’s videos than I do from any other media sources. Tom, thank you for all you do to make us more successful fisherman!
This was another great video! Good information on Hyper Hammer. I got to get me one of the Elliot rods.

I love the Elliot rods but I hate taping my reel on a $130 rod. Wish they had real seats.

Katsmaster tipped with a minnow head or tiny worm, deadly! One of my best go to for Walleye, Trout and even Burbs
Try a Sonic BaitFish (Mack's Lure Co.). Capt. Pete
What’s the best size and color to use buddy
