It brought a tear to my eye that Lex mentioned the J12, as that’s my guilty pleasure! I have the Marine Blue you he mentioned. I loved the marketing blurb for that watch which said that the 3 slits on either side of the strap helped the water pass through the watch more efficiently to help you pass through the water faster! I also have the Superleggera with the black ceramic and aluminium mix strap, a chromatic which was my wedding watch, and a pure black ceramic. To my eyes it’s a stunning watch and I love it that some hate it. I also have a Sub and no one has ever commented on the similarities. Buy what you love and stuff what others think; that’s a guilty pleasure!
When you compare an Aqua Terra with a Diver 300m, it is a step higher in attention to detail. Look specifically at the crowns, hands and dials. The new shades bracelet is much more intricate also.
