Calling out a person for choosing to behave inappropriately is not being a snowflake. As a presenter of a flagship tv show, Wallace is/was in a powerful position. He would know that enough people are invested in making money from the show that they are going to protect every bit of their investment, including Wallace's behaviour. This is why it takes a long, long time for people with power to be revealed for who they really are, by which time they have done immeasurable harm, as have the companies/organisations who chose to turn a blind eye for so long. If someone chooses to subject you to inappropriate behaviour you - all of us - should speak out and hold them to account. That's not being a snowflake. All those supposedly minor behaviours add up. When we don't call it out we're tacitly allowing that person to feel what they said or did is ok. It's not ok. It never was.
@@Graham-zh4cp I would unfortunately hope so. So far no one is coming up with anything that would require anything more than a "please mind what you say" chat.

That's the point. The more that's said the more people will eventually speak up. If you don't understand why it takes so long to don't understand power dynamics.

Probably because of all the criticism of the BBC in the last few years they are not now taking any risks .
@@dianecameron137 Comments on ‘Gregg Wallace: former Masterchef contestant reveals what he was really like’ 1047am 29.11.24 dunno. there are, obviously, some people who suffer... we can't deny that. but "sexualized language".. who was she on about...? probably a case of mick's told a joke so the rest of humanity think he's complained about a person...

I stopped watching when the second woman used this as a vehicle to attack men. Oh yes and the single down vote is from me.
Sick of the BBC giving these people so much exposure. They give them gigs after gigs. Give other people a chance and a shot. These people hang around far too long.
My feelings are hurt boohooo
The gall of a guy saying there were only 12 that complained out of thousands.. There shouldnt be any ffs. He is a nobody thats landed lucky. Fire him for good.
Greg sold his soul to the corporate food world. Weak person.
What comments exactly? All innuendo.
He has just got a new job working in Harrods
Absolute snowflakes 😂
Absolute ignorance and stupidity
I can't watch the man. He appears to be a bit of a creep,
Would I be right to say this is a very British thing when it comes to men? Kind of banter with a wink and a nudge? I don't know many American men whom behave this way in my locality - and once men are married, in my experience, men are incredibly respectful to their wives, and women in general, over the states, compared to British men 🤷🏼♀️
Better not look into Ramsey/Marco/Roux. All horrible people to work with.
If hes done bad then f🤬ck him.....BUT . why are people not going after the people who facilitated al fyed , Andrew , etc etc . Its like greg just wasn't famous enough. Although thats not me saying greg hasnt done wrong.
Leave him alone woke brigade. We're all different.
Jo Brand made a comment about throwing battery acid over a person on the BBC, no fuss by the BBC controllers then.
Hopefully he will dropped from, In the Factory, which is an interesting program, but big headed Wallace ruined it.
Always thought even without these revelations , that this bloke was a slime ball !
Works for the BBC. We all know where this is going...
This has made my day. I never liked this mam and have always had my doubts.l must follow my gut instinct more.what kind of people employ this kind nasty at the BBC?
Makes a bit of salad. Not enough to feed my cat let alone a person, gets paid millions a year, what a joke
Ah. You’ve seen Greggs role as salad maker then.
Lets hope that back stabbing like this, leads on air talent to shun contact with the contestants of their programs.
And you think Women don't?
Most men are creeps, very few women are, huge difference.
Not a great interview with several questions framed in a way that suggests Greg is guilty.
Whats Gordon Ramsey saying about this .... 🤔 😂😂
This is only the tip of the iceberg
@@Graham-zh4cp I would unfortunately hope so. So far no one is coming up with anything that would require anything more than a "please mind what you say" chat.
This smacks of someone deciding to go for a cash grab. He may not be your cup of tea but unless he actually did something other than telling bad taste jokes or perhaps some bad taste comments, then I question why it took this long to complain and who actually stands to benefit. Rather than speculate, let's see what the actual evidence brings.
That's the point.
The more that's said the more people will eventually speak up.
If you don't understand why it takes so long to don't understand power dynamics.
My 2 pence, multiple TV shows with everyone radio mic'ed up.... and not one bit of recorded evidence produced or filmed on a phone and leaked.....makes me quite suspicious.
I hope he has savings, his TV career is finished, we won’t see him again
Another case of the BBC protecting ‘the talent’. They just don’t learn.
You’ll probably call people a bunch of snowflakes in your next comment.
@ I thought my comment was as slightly more original than that.
Serious news item.
God help her husband …..if she’s married ?
Awwwww touch a nerve did he 😂
Oh Aggies always been a grass. I remember when she went after Kim Woodburn.
