I live near Ft. Lauderdale, and our downpours are even worse! In fact, you were there in October…strong part of hurricane Season. This is a MAJOR reason so many of us drive trucks and large SUVs. You feel safer driving in the rain.
@ When I moved here from New York in June of 1994…driving down in a sedan (wife and sons to fly down a week later)… I pulled off the Florida’s Turnpike under an overpass and stayed there for like 15 minutes until the downpour passed. Couldn’t see 2 feet in front of the car. Thought that I had moved to the Amazon Rain Forest, or India during monsoon season. 😂
@withthetaylors I'm going to Florida in September (second visit in 7 years) so I'm binge watching as much Orlando RUclips as possible. I even managed to plan my full 10 days of places to eat based on vlogs.

We can totally believe that! We got caught in a storm one time driving and it was terrifying! You couldn't see anything in front of you.
