"Linh discusses their quarter life crisis" is a very valuable segment for you to talk through your own feelings and plans, and for us viewers to reflect on our own life crises in solidarity 😂
Hey linh, I'm Adia Bluesky and I just wanted to say I love how you inserted your views on imperialism and colonialism. As a young Native American who goes to a very white school I have always been taught two different ways at school compared to home. I appreciate that you are aware of the situation and I really appreciate you bringing awareness to others. I feel safe here on you channel and I feel like you welcome everyone no matter their race/ethnicity/religion/sexuality. I am truly grateful for you and your channel.
I so agree with this -- I love their breakdown of Marxism, of how nihilism and pessimism are oppressor tools/speak. Linh, you're amazing, keep doing you & would love to see more content like this! ++ viet cooking recipes so I can learn how to use herbs more !! ~ We are so much more than the sum of our consumption and production.... now being older (post-grad) in years of working and understanding how we perceive ourselves and others through our *output*, it's tough but remind ourselves of our humanness. Keep creating, doing, what means more to you, whether it be art, the written word, explorations that don't go anywhere. Laughter and joy and strength we get from these small (useless by the system) activities (read up on Ikigai) are what keeps us happy, alive, and well ~
your discussion of your career and life made me so fricking happy. we’re both social justice inclined sociology majors and i find myself enjoying your thoughts on your studies and life in general. maybe he parasocial is parasocializing but heres to let you know that i adore hearing your sociological spiels
Man, I don't know if this would happen but I would LOVE to see you do an actual TED talk! I love listening to you talk about things you're passionate about, and I am grateful for people like you on social media and online spaces who ground me and make me think about the world. Lol maybe that's deep, but if you have the opportunity for a TED talk PLEASE take it!!!
the non-profit industrial complex spiral is so real! trying not too overthink myself into another quarter life crisis as i'm applying to internships in the advocacy field (including oca which i found thanks to you hehe)... you're such an intellectual and thought-provoking inspiration, linh! i hope all will be well
Nothing hits like an aesthetic content creator not being quiet as hell about social issues. I have it on my plan to read Marx for several reasons and as someone that is still in the process of trying to set up a nonprofit with an American friend I can definitely feel the Nonprofit Industrial Complex being a struggle from the inside too for people that truly just wanna help but are trapped in a system made for rich people (like...come on, solicitation licensing shouldn't be costing thousands per year for a nonprofit raising money online). I occasionally come back to your channel and every time I'm reminded of how much you truly care for the world around you and I relate a lot.
Linh I just want to say thank you. I grew up about 5 minutes from Cox Farms and this was the first year in 24 years I wasn’t able to go to the fall festival. Your little highlight at the end was so unexpected and made me so happy I got to visit the fall festival in one way or another🙂
as always a great and beautifully edited video linh! pls talk more about your quarter life crisis (if you're) comfortable. it's only freeing to hear someone else reflect on a lot of the things I'm currently struggling to figure out, too
I absolutely appreciate you cosily bringing up deep subjects and social subjects, especially in this time of genocide in Palestine. I’ts so important that public figures like yourself challenge social problems and I respect you as an influencer for that ❤
Content creation and social advocacy don't have to be mutually exclusive. You have skills you can use in your career because of RUclips, and you can use that platform to talk about the issues that matter to you. I've been watching you since I was an undergrad in DC, and to see you blossom has been amazing. You're gonna do great, Linh!
sometimes it’s hard for me to get what you tell linh…but even thought your videos always brings this heartwarming feeling of being at home it feels like listening to mom i sometimes don’t get a things but just looking and admiring the person who talks your videos feel like home
I enjoyed your thougts of a quarter life crisis. Is good to think about all that stuff. I had this exact crisis a bit later in life, but after all It was great; now I know myself better and I know exactly what I want to do, and who I am. Good luck ❤❤❤
Even though my life is pretty busy 'cause I work and study at university, dear Linh your videos bring me so much calmness and cozy vibes... I can't even explain it. I hope you're having a nice day 😘🍃
I don't think I've seen a video from ya in a while which is understandable with how busy you are just glad, you're still doing well and doing what you can to take it day by day, I love your kitchen set up so much < 3 You've got good taste always.
linh, you discussing your post-grad plans and interests really settled in with me. i'm actually really interested in exactly what you're saying but i never really understood how to say it, so thank you so much for talking about it bc i feel like i would've gone my entire college career not knowing what that would be.
Our mothers have the same view! My mom is also very supportive of my art but she did say to me “I would have loved to be rich and give you your own studio to just do art all day, but you must understand our situation and the opportunities this country gives you.” I live in Turkey, and being an art graduate would mean practically no job for me. So, since knowing English is extremely valuable here, I’m studying a major where it’s diploma would basically be physical evidence that my English is good. And with good English, you can get a wide variety of jobs :) I just hope I can still continue making art 🥲💕
linh’s videos have been such a motivation during my final season😭😭 I was just re watching all the past few videos just to feeeeel like doing stuff😭🫶 love u linh
Someone recently told me "Do you really want to follow the path that you were told to follow when you were young, even though you have the exposure?" and I apparently shocked them by saying "Yeah, as much as it is time consuming and almost killing me now (I live in India) I really like my subjects and I DO want to do this" so you saying you want to work a 9-5 really resonated with me
i quite literally screamed when u said u wanted to do creative directing cus im in my life crisis era too and creative direction is something i would love to do as a job but im way too scared to even admit that i want to do a creative job (cus thats not what ur typical asian parent wants and its tERRIFYING) but when u said u wanted to pursue creative direction as well, it felt very calming and was a omg twinzie moment ehe... gave me a lil more confidence to say fuck it and just go for it! love u so so much, mwah
Welcome back! We've missed you! I can totally relate to your social justice career confusion. I'll be graduating with my master's in social work in May, and I have no idea where I want to go/what I want to do. I want to help underserved communities, but everything seems bleak or nuanced recently, and my thoughts change to, "how can I do the least amount of harm?" It's a tough field, and it can be tricky to know which organizations are actually helping those they intend to serve.
tbh i just love love love her unique editing style even though this video is 17 min long but, god knows I dare not skip a single minute.....If possible please give us a tutorial on how to make it look super duper cozy, coz, I can see its editing and lighting changes with time and other factors comes up, but, it looks so satisfying and cozy,
Linh, I’ve watched your videos since middle school, and now as a sophomore in high school I’ve been struggling with school, an AP class to be specific, and now I’m sitting here, trying to get the motivation to work, get my grades up, and study before midterms, and I decide to watch one of your videos to help. I hope you know how much your videos help me in seeing school in a different light 🫶
im lucky to have seen you evolve so much over the years linh! i hope to work at a non-profit once i graduate too so we'll see how that works out for me hahah sending you love
Can I just... YOUR CAMPAIGN IS AWESOME. It literally reminds me of those days when I was little and my mom would just drop a bunch of journals on the ground and I would be gone for 2 hours at least. The details, the style, the sense of fashion is just so inspiring. I am floored how you have grown. There is such an exquisite mark you leave that NO ONE will ever doubt who made it, cuz it has you written all over it. And... you look so gorgeous. The way you do your hair and make up... *chef's kiss*
Just finding your channel and I wish I had friends like you in college. Thank you so much for sharing your perspectives and advocacy "I want justice and equity to be achieved in my lifetime!" I felt that deeply and appreciate you!! 💖
istg these videos are single-handedly carrying me through post-high school burnout (i'm finishing up my first term lol but the exhaustion is real) here's to hoping I can manage a bachelor's in sociology! 🥂 edit: your ted talk was wonderful, I greatly enjoyed it! 💖
Oh my god! I used to watch you all the time when I was younger. I played the video and I immediately remember who you are because of the songgg. It took me way back in years😭love uuu🤍
Linh, it´s incredible to listen to you, I would love to have a conversation about your quarter-life crises and everything that you said, we would have so much to talk and it would take hours because that it´s such a complex topic but a very important one! I loved the video, as always! Kisses
When you said "Nihilism and pessimism is the language of the oppressor" it actually made me tear up (not really sure why). I'm going into environmental science (wildlife biology) and its a career that doesn't pay much a lot of the time and can be brutal on your body and well-being, but someone has to care about the creatures on this planet especially during climate change, and I could be pessimistic about it all but instead I'm so excited to start my career and try to make a difference. Your videos mean the world to me I'm so glad I found you a few years back and that I've gotten to go to college along side you/your videos.
As a marxist communist I really liked hearing your little monologue about one part of marx's theory of labor! Although it isn't just about art, and more about education, I would recommend people who enjoyed that quick part to read "Why socialism" by Albert Einstein! It's a really small essay! Also, LOVE the Palestine support! It makes me so happy to know that my fave youtuber to watch is on the right side of history!
If the age turn me to the past I will do what exactly you do as uni student, your vibes are contagious and I am so inspired from your way if life and studying. Actually and to be honest we should have more like you in this world especially sociology students in the orient because we don't have justice at all and families are struggling a lot from many subjects especially women. Oh my God I can't wait to see you graduated and see you at social works and make justice. Actually my teen-age daughter she's thinking to study Sociology like you and I am encouraging her but until now she didn't decide between Criminology or sociology, hope she could find her way. MIGHT BE USEFUL: you said about managing kind of creative sections, soemthing to look into would be agencys. im in art school (also sesior year woop woop lol) and so ive been going to different animation studios and theyve told us how they get work, which would be the same for political animations (example: that one adverts from a few years ago about deforestation and the monkey in the girls bedroom). so, companies go to agencys with what they want, and the agency coems up with the bare bones concept that fits the clients requests, and then looks for reps in animation or illustration (whatevers needed) studios. the studios then pitch the project, and whilst theres someone in charge at the studio at pre/post/production, agencys also manage them to keep them on task and communicate the changes in the clients wishes. im sure theres a non profit agency that focuses on political works for charities. might take some googling tho
I always forget that you live in the same area as me until you show somewhere like the Eden Center in your videos. I love going to the Vivis boba shop there! They have the best brown sugar milk tea to me!
"sometimes you go to a college class, and you're like, i'm paying? to listen to this?????" French students everyday, bc uni costs are very low in France you can often feel it on the quality of classes 🙃🙃
these 15 min of denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance of having to wake up are essential to my day. anyways, love your videos
Hi💋🤎
the support for palestine in this vid is so lovely to see, and it's always a joy to see you linh

Linh's quarter life crisis sounds more like a reading my sociology professor would assign. But in all honesty i would EAT UP that reading.
Linh is living my dream life
your vlogs are always the most thoughtful
as always a great and beautifully edited video linh! pls talk more about your quarter life crisis (if you're) comfortable. it's only freeing to hear someone else reflect on a lot of the things I'm currently struggling to figure out, too

it's my first year as a college student, and these videos are the only help I have to understand how to work and study for different subjects

Kisses
Perfect to watch on a crowded bus after a long day at school 💐 the vibes are immaculate as usual
The entire video is just too good... Although the moment you said "am I paying to listen to this? " I instantly liked the video that moment😭😭😭😭
As a marxist communist I really liked hearing your little monologue about one part of marx's theory of labor!
Although it isn't just about art, and more about education, I would recommend people who enjoyed that quick part to read "Why socialism" by Albert Einstein! It's a really small essay!

your videos always make me feel so warm, thank you for all the effort and love you put into them.
as someone who currently works in a nonprofit, i appreciate you mentioning the nonprofit industrial complex! it's rough out here 😭
I'm super excited for the silver jewelry line!!!!
as always, a wonderful video
the whole quarter life crisis segment is so REAL i felt that so hard
If the age turn me to the past I will do what exactly you do as uni student, your vibes are contagious and I am so inspired from your way if life and studying. Actually and to be honest we should have more like you in this world especially sociology students in the orient because we don't have justice at all and families are struggling a lot from many subjects especially women. Oh my God I can't wait to see you graduated and see you at social works and make justice.
Actually my teen-age daughter she's thinking to study Sociology like you and I am encouraging her but until now she didn't decide between Criminology or sociology, hope she could find her way. Any way thanks for all your lovely content you are gonna to be famous some day and I am happy for you because your are working so hard to fulfill your dreams. ❤

That last bit on Marx has also been on my mind a lot! Thanks for sharing !
your determination astonishes me bc i would never wake up at 5am if i had a 11am lecture. No way in hell
Linh can make anything super aesthetic, ie. smacking their knee really bad in a dingy library closet 😂 another great vlog, I’ll be super sad if you stop making RUclips videos but you’re going to crush it in life wherever you go~
You probably get that a lot but you’re so gorgeous 🫢 You Look so cool and your vlogs are amazing too, it’s my first vlog of you but I can feel the greatness 😮

your editing is extremely good i love it i like to learn that and have a great life love it u show how you work and how u manage your things.😊💌
Ahhhh!!! Wake up linh posted ❤❤
MIGHT BE USEFUL: you said about managing kind of creative sections, soemthing to look into would be agencys. im in art school (also sesior year woop woop lol) and so ive been going to different animation studios and theyve told us how they get work, which would be the same for political animations (example: that one adverts from a few years ago about deforestation and the monkey in the girls bedroom). so, companies go to agencys with what they want, and the agency coems up with the bare bones concept that fits the clients requests, and then looks for reps in animation or illustration (whatevers needed) studios. the studios then pitch the project, and whilst theres someone in charge at the studio at pre/post/production, agencys also manage them to keep them on task and communicate the changes in the clients wishes. im sure theres a non profit agency that focuses on political works for charities. might take some googling tho
the fact that u went to a Palestine owned cafe is so admirable!!! #FREEPALESTINE
thanks for giving me a lil relaxation through your vlogs
Sad theres no place like this in Hongkong cause everywhere crowded and i cant live the chill study in cafe life unless i squeeze with others😢
I really wanna romanticise my school life in hongkong too..
I always forget that you live in the same area as me until you show somewhere like the Eden Center in your videos. I love going to the Vivis boba shop there! They have the best brown sugar milk tea to me!
I love these videos!! They bring some calm to my chaotic day❤❤
