Super interesting historic event. In the 30s there was this huge talk about nature Vs narture all over tabloids etc. so this doctor couple decided to raise a 6month chimp alongside their 1 year old son. To see if the chimp will ever react human like. After 2 years the experiment got cancelled and this type of expirement became illegal
Turns out a chimp is a chimp and it behaved perfectly chimp like.
But the boy, had adapted this perfect chimp impression, and it would take a lot of work for the kid to not act chimp like. It shows the brain capacity of a human so greater than animals that it can learn anything. One of the things the kid struggled he couldnt understand the need of speaking, he would point yell etc but not use words.
The parents were so hard broken for what they have done to their child they dedicated their entire life to raising their child. By the age of 5 the boy finally started speaking his first words. By the age of 8 he finally reached the same intellect as the other 8 year old. And by the age of 14 the boy was an entire year ahead of his pierres. Because his parents were with him all the time they had turned basically to his personal assistants. By the age of 18 the boy was academically unmatched. He could be whatever he wanted. He became a renowned psychiatrist rehabilitating and researching drug addiction. In his late 40s he was married, both his parents died from natural causes within 2 years from each other and he couldnt take it. They had such a strong bond the man couldn't fathom living without them and committed suicide.

Ive bought one of those Malaysian bootleg and I would say the quality is good if you want to buy oop series at a decent price. My only problem is that the bootleg volume is quite heavy and it's quite uncomfortable flipping through the pages since the papers kinda stiff 😂 but i would say if you can, support the originals

I was slower to watch this as FF7 Rebirth has been taking all my free time these last few days haha. Really appreciated the comparisons of Red River and Vinland Saga editions. While at first I thought the Vinland Saga Deluxes seemed a bit silly given they already had a hardcover release, it was cool to see how they elevated it. (I don’t have either edition, but it’s been on my radar for years at this point lol.)
Enjoy all the manga from Feb! I finally packed up the RoV acrylics I mentioned nearly half a year ago now (oops!) and am hoping to mail them this weekend, as a side note haha.)
I want to play Rebirth so bad! I'm forcing myself to beat Octopath Traveler II before I pick it up.

I think i Will not double dip with vinland saga. It seems great but i'm satisfied with the regular HC ones.

What do yall use to get the yellow off of the manga?
We don't even try to remove it. It's just the lignin in the paper hardening. It's virtually impossible to prevent, so why even bother? I highly recommend you watch our video on storing manga. We go through the science of paper archiving.
