Agree..it seems to me that in the last snatch attempt he was a little bit unsure...that elbow dislocation in 2016 was really terrible..i thought then that after that he will retire....
@@psl127 Yury Zacharevich also dislocated his elbow in the snatch, made a recovery after a surgery and came back to snatch 210kg, 12.5kg more than the weight which destroyed his elbow.

Perhaps it’s a wee bit possible the doping tests were not as accurate yes?

Commentators are so annoying with their bashing on dopers. They're all on something. Just because their Brits haven't been caught doesn't mean they are clean ...
Sonny Webster got caught. I don't think they're discriminating based on nationality, moreso just those who dope.. Which is most elite WL athletes, some just have yet to be caught

I found it insulting that the announcers insinuated that there is some kind of fight between Greece and Cyprus. Dont they know Greek Cypriots are ethnically greek? Pathetic.
89 is not a good quality weightclass anymore because IWF messed up when forming new categories in 2017 they left new 89 kg class out of the olympics and that meant lifters had to chose size down to 81 or go up to 94 (tian tao case) to be in the olympics but the problem is that if the country has numerous great 77 kg and 94 kg lifters who would just add 2 kg in bodyweight and move into new class what that leaves with previous 85 kg lifters and remember that class between 2013 and 2016 was the most competitive class in all weightlifting where you had 5-6 good lifters who could go for 170/215 at least rostami and tao go for 220
@@npc4188 the IOC determines the Olympic classes not the IWF, and they cut 89 and 102 men's from the Olympics because the IWF is terrible at policing its own sport

Zlaten Vanev dislocated his elbow twice and still came back to win worlds and set records.. it's an injury that can be overcome..

I'm astonished by how strong they are with such little muscle and being such light body weight.
I think when you train your muscles primarily for power, you can stay relatively lean but can throw out some heavy lifts
