After Devin weston killed trevor in front of michael and franklin, he decided to finish the job and kill them all once and for all but to his surprise lamar did arrive just in time to stop him, so lamar pointed his gun at devin mocking him before actually killing him since devin didin't even put up a fight and just give up, just when lamar was about to shoot devin, steve haines did appear out of nowhere and killed lamar on the spot resulting in saving devin weston, and that marks the betrayal of both steve haines and dave norton in michael's eyes, Franklin was very shocked and sad by this and was out for revenge but CJ did stop him in time before things get more worse for them.
