@@ToneyReactions my brother went to see him at MGM Park last year and said it was an amazing show. Him and Bruno have been trading off months at the Park, I got tickets for August 26.
I had a HUGE Crash on Usher back in the Day. Now in my 40's and after listening to this tiny desk made me realized how FREAKY these lyrics were. 😅 My boy still got those killer looks and smile. 🤗 Tfs

I don't think Usher gets all the respect he's due. The man has 9 #1 hits and 18 top 10 hits. 8701 was the fastest selling RnB album of all time. That was, until Usher broke his own damn record with Confessions. Y'all ain't hear me. Nobody could beat Usher but Usher his damn self. He's the one that took the baton from MJ and Prince and brought us to where we are now with Bruno and others. Chris Brown? Jason Derulo? Ne-Yo? All influenced by MJ, Prince, and Usher. Yes, he's in that class and it's time we start giving him the respect he's due.

Agreed, in this genre and reggeton, trap and some others is just trash, I was born in the 80s and i think i got the best of the end of 80s, all 90s and some 2000s, and after is very downhill unfortunately, so im eclectic and ive found quality music in other genres, mostly where people play instruments. USHER IS A BOSS, (SO IS Maxwell). I think it has a lot to do with technology, these youngsters dont have to create beats, runs, instrumentals, its all done, you can download everything and I think is limiting their ability to create. Those creative processes when bands gather is a far away located studio for days creating are far gone. I still listen to new R&B because im hopeful!
