You know what's the most terrifying thing about Kuroshitsuji? That Our!Ciel and Real!Ciel are actually kids. Thirteen years olds. Mentally they are like fully grown adult (which doesn't make anything better) but still. O!Ciel shouldn't be going through something like that. I mean imagine that beside that your whole family, past and future (who would want to know when they're going to die?) seems freaking messed up you have to keep up with all those mind games AND you're just a replacement. Just a fucking replacement. All memories of "you" and your family, fiance are just you and your twin being mistaken. It's so freaking terrifying.
And I really feel bad that I actually enjoy this chaos. All those plot twists look amazing. It all send chills down my spine.
I don't think that people actually realize what pressure is on twins (ok let's be honest, on O!Ciel) and what manipulative monsters they would be in real life. Even now when I write this I am freaking smiling of excitement for new chapters of manga.

It must really be possible to be just a fucking sub-institute, and having to pass for a person that you are not even him being your twin, and knowing that no one in your family cares even for you, when he vouted no one cares with the other brother not even his uncles.
Doesn't the fact that Our Ciel is the unnamed twin make you cry? He comes back and pretends to be the real Ciel for everyone, and they never (that we see) ever mention his real name. We see no pictures of the two together, we see nothing of O!Ciel. That would tear me apart, having nobody appear to miss me, not even Madam Red truly missed him, she only missed Real Ciel.

it hurts to think that when the Ciel with the eyepatch was in the cage and watched his twin die he said that if he comes back alive no one would even be happy and all of their relatives would’ve wished it was the real Ciel that came back and not him. It was one of the reason he pretended to be his twin i think. IT JUST HURTS. AND I CANT FULLY HATE THE REAL CIEL SINCE HE WAS A GOOD BROTHER TO OUR CIEL WITH THE HOT BUTLER

he came to use his brother's name as omenegem, even he is using a false identity I love '' SIRIUS '' because when he made the contract with '' SEBASTIAN '' the first thing he pedil was to have the brother of new, but that was impossible. In the last manga it was confirmed that his real name is '' LORD SIRIUS ''.

Ciel is not a villain..but ur right if the real ciel wad the mc he would be made out to be the villain..but ciel thought his brother was dead...and i think the reaosn he used his brothers identity was so there wouldnt be chaos...the real ciel was mesnt to inherit it im sure if ciel came as himself he wouldnt be as respected and it would make things alot harder...ciel seemed to love his brother in the past so i dont think he took his identity with any evil intentions
Our Ciel isn't a villain, he took his brother's identity because of survivor's guilt and our Ciel doesn't have a high opinion of himself. This poor kid needs a therapist...

I don't think thats actually his real name although I do think it was the smart way to hint at our ciel's backstory!! I've followed the two ciel theory since 2013 and I always thought that Alois was the most obvious hint that Yana was telling us the theory was right. I completely freaked when this chapter came out! I kinda think that our ciel's name is Astre/Aster since there was evidence in this old blog post about it being Yana's original choice for Ciel's name.

when they were kidnapped, ciel's brother died and our ciel survived but he acted as if he was his brother because he is the eldest somehow somehow so many did not know that they were twins because our ciel has many diseases and one could be kidnapped in blackmailing the family in any case brought undertaker him back to life
