while running playing the application on laptop it shows the 2Dguideview but using mobile phone it is not showing the 2Dguidview not even detecting. What should I do ? please need your support

Why my unity project with vuforia doesn't work on my smartphone? I'm trying to create an AR application using Vuforia instead of ARFoundation. I'm using Unity version 2022.3.11, and I've installed Vuforia Engine 10.18.4. I removed the main camera and replaced it with Vuforia's ARCamera. I've configured Vuforia and added the license key. I also added an image target with a specific 3D model. When I test it in 'play mode,' the application works, but when I build it for Android (both for the OnePlus Nord 2 with Android 13 and the Motorola Edge 20 Lite), it doesn't work. It doesn't seem to detect the image target at all. In the project settings, 'arm64' is checked, and 'arm7' is not. The Android API level is already set to Android 8.0. What could be the reason for this issue? What I would expect is that when I point the AR app at the image, a 3D model should be overlaid on that image. However, what actually happens is that nothing appears.

Hello! Thx for the video. But I faced the problem here. Unity tells me this error when after I do all the steps Couldn't create a preview for the target [pmc5axmachine] in dataset [pmc5axmachine]. Check the VuforiaConfiguration if you have the 'Disable model extraction from databases' flag enabled. Have u faced this kind of error before when doing this? Thx
hi. i try Model Targets for a building (20m height) and it worked, but object's position/ rotation look bad. i used Area Target for a room and it worked perfect. Do you think i should use Area Target for that building ?
For a building tracking, model target wouldn't work properly because the target model should have distinguishable features and also it should be static as well. Mostly we reccomend to use Location Based AR solutions for buildings and we have a Unity package for it. Please check this out. When we export the package with model target generator and import back to Unity then it will show a preview inside the editor. Then you can place the detail points based on it.

That is because the minimum android version that you have chosen in the project settings is greater than the android version of your device. So please use the same version or minor version. Thank you
You can add a image under the canvas and attach the target image in to that. Then reduce the opacity a bit and you will see the image target as the overlay. Thank you!

@@leadaf Only one Model Target can be tracked at a time you can track both a Model Target, Area Target, and an Image Target at the same time. Just keep in mind the increased computational load for tracking targets simultaneously.

You have created a very good tutorial. although you have skipped passed important aspects in this development. It would benefit everyone more if you explained the settings of the controller copy and it's forcefield material. You also skipped passed the occlusion for this making it difficult for people to understand and grasp for other types of objects they may be using. And the most important part that you skipped was the actual copy of the model. As you can see, you are being asked a lot of questions with most people stuck. Maybe consider a more in-depth tutorial.

Can you please try Unity 2022 versions with Vuforia as there are some Unity versions that gives the same error you have mentioned here. Thank you!

Can I put two or more model targets in the same unity scene? I need interact with two or more objects
Technically possible but be aware about the performance side as well of the application once you are using multiple model target options. Thank you!

We used an existing CAD model of the object.

hi doing great job. I tried to do the same with a Rubics cube, but it wasn't getting target. can u help me with this.
Actually there should be more distinguishable features of the tracking object. so we think that rubics cube would not work well with tracking.
