another arabic? music that was very big in the Philippines as I was growing up. this music hit the FM airwaves in the early 1908's. i consider this music a Philippine novelty even it has nothing to do with the country except made people like me happy and now reminisce of the old days when things were simple...making me Philippine homesick..

The Abdul Hassan Orchestra was a Dutch group of Hans van Eijck, with no arabic people in it but they disguise as arabs. It was famous in the end of the 70's and 80's, with some singles with the belly dancer yonina. Hans van Eyck you hear on the piano, and they had a hit in 1978 "Arabian Affair".

Thanks for the info. This music was so popular in the early 80’s in the Philippines when I was growing up. You cant turn on FM radio without hearing this 😀❤️
