Woow even you using charcoal as toothpaste? I remember 15 years ago my grandpa used to teach us how to use it and their teeth were shiny like ceramics, I didn't thought it will go that far!

I grew up in a village in uganda and we use also chacol from wood and a branch of a tree called wuswet, and after using it you just keep and use it again a few days more before you break again another branch.

I'm Amerikan Afrikan, or our original name Mulungu as ethnicity. We lost our culture because of our elitist black Amerikan class. They actually pay schools to disconnect us from Afraka.
@@garrettcole2251 I’m American born in the North, 5th generation from slavery and we knew nothing about Afrika or the journey of our ancestors until the movie ‘Roots’ by Alex Haley premiered on television in 1977. When I asked my white teachers about Afrika and our history they had no answers. They only talked about agriculture, and population but never about the history.

In my village we don't have tissue paper we use maize cobs. #village life.
you can also use cow dung too make compound clean and you compound will also have less dust

Long way from India. I also used charcoal ash to clean my teeth when I was very little kid. My Mom also used ashes from kitchen to clean the dishes. We still use broom made from coconut leaves and I love eating sweet potato, the purple one.

In the old days I heard about people using chewstick and charcoal to brush their teeth but I wonder how does it work for the tongue though? I didnt see you brush your tongue. That clay must be super weighty. I cant imagine you filling that with water. It seems that God made africans with a different kind of strength. Up for you. Strong back.

That's also we used to clean our teeth the guava branch when were kids,the peel of betel nuts its also use to clean the teeth,salt is our tothpaste village life is happy because there are free things around like a branch of guava can be made into a tothbrush haha,i just watched it now the video of your's is inspiring thank you dee for sharing it❤🇵🇭
In Guyana 🇬🇾we use black sage and chalk colds.to brush our teeth to keep it 💯white.

This's really true, I was born in zanzibar n I grew up with dat life, I prefer to use the (coconut brunch as a tooth brush) is strong n last long than guava tree... Thanks for sharing this with us
