I don’t wanna be that guy and point things out, but the red sword kit isn’t free. You get to choose one kind of vanity grime the red dye merchant for free after you beat him in the tournament. It could be the sword kit or a dye or a hat. I chose a mask for free.
Forbidden shrine at the top of iki, equip tadayoris armor and use the special ability to show the weak spots on the shrine, shoot them with a bow and there’s your armor
Faye marked the trees which created a stave around their home (basically a shield from enemies) thats why when Kratos chopped down the tree, they started getting draugr close to their home. you can also notice that atreus also said "draugr never get THIS close to our home!"
I wish they'd bring in more of the armor pieces from legends mode. I really like the samurai helmet with the thick horns, similar to the one jin's uncle wears.
That actually IS the one Shimura wears, they just ported it to Legends. I was really hoping we would get Shimura’s outfit and sword kit as well as Ryuzo’s sword kit in this, but guess not

I just started Iki island and to be honest, I’m kinda burned out, I loved the game but there was just way too many question marks over the map and millions of same missions. I loved it at first but then became but tedious. It happens with all open world games for me. If there was more depth, it would be 9/10 for me but I give it an 8 overall.
The Shrine for the Horizon Zero Dawn skin is actually in-game, Jin cannot wear it since the outfit is for a girl but the shrine is there and it's called Destroyed Shrine and it is at the north of Iki Island on a smaller island as I remember, hope you see this.
I just discovered the Raider Helmet on top of Mt Takenotsuji. You have to climb to the top of the mountain just east of Fort Sakai. On a ledge just before the top of the mt, there's a small sign with a field of flowers a few levels below. Play the flute in front of the sign, and a lightening bolt will crash into the small field of flowers, revealing a box. Open the box, and there's the Raider Helmet.
I cant remember which is which but if raw courage is the robe looking one you should pair that up with the new red wolf mask and the headband of the second son... it looks clean af
For everyone trying to get the Eagles Helmet: You DONT have to finish the story mode, but you DO have to liberate Iki. You have to clear all 6 outposts.
Better yet liberate iki before taking on the eagle i found out the hard way. Plus rematching her gets pretty insane you start with 3 resolves while the eagle its faster and hits like shaokhan from mk
There is a house that is above the zasho bay camp on the map its between yahata forest and the camp checkpoint there is a lady called uta you have to talk to.
Nope. There's no house in the forest nor a person named Uta. The only house you'll find in yahata forest is the one close to the archery target and there's a couple of raiders there

You forgot the raider helmet. Kinda looks like coconut texture. It’s cool. Also a side mission you do gives you the iconic rice field worker straw hat and it’s red. You just need to return to where you got the mission and you get it as a reward after observing the body.
I love the Spartan mask with the Armor of the Colossus. It looks really cool. Also, I did not know there was a Crimson Dye merchant on Iki. And of course I just spent all my flowers on white and black dyes for certain kits.

That's right, we need to complete the story and clean up everything. I passed the island of Iki 100% for my channel. The whole game was played on a Nightmare and No damage. This is the best game in its genre.

With regards to the handprint and Axe for the GoW easter egg, the Axe is obvious but if you didn't play the game you won't know that (SPOILERS) the handprint as well as all the yellow paint/symbol indicators from the start to the end of the game are markings left by Faye, the boys mother, who could see the future and marked their journey's path for them. This handprint in particular was a spell she left on the forest trees around their house which protected and hid them from being seen by the Gods, a spell that is unknowingly undone by Kratos right at the start of the game.
What if its a hint god of war will go to ancient Japan maybe 14 bc during Jin Sakai Era the Era or the last samurai and Kratos is a kami of war a real kami that Jin has to stop Or different story God of War goes to ancient Japan back when the Kami were Real and alive and kratos faces them leading to thier extinction and why they have shrines dedicated to them all around tsushima and iki island.
