Great tutorial. Nice that things are explained instead of just going through the motions to play the game. I have a question for anyone who might know.... It doesn't seem logical to me (someone with almost no knowledge of aircraft systems) that the fuel pump would go on after the APU is started. How does the APU start with no fuel?
To clarify, at 18:54 active and standby comm frequencies are discussed. Easy way to know which is which is by the green light above the frequency window. Whichever green light is illuminated is the frequency you are using. This method was very common in in aircraft designed in the era of the A310 and prior. It’s pretty self-explanatory but figured I would point it out for those simmers that are used to a more modern cockpit.

Thanks for updating cockpit textures for xbox series s. Now its actually good enough to play with. Still needs a little bit better textures. Hopefully its possible to atleast get all buttons and gauges looking good like default a320. Can skimp on some other stuff. Great work on this a310.
Network requests from code (from WASM, at least) are impacted by MSFS server status. Due to the popularity of the 40th Anniversary update, the servers are under heavy load. The simbrief integration was tested heavily during the production phase. Until server load lightens, the SimBrief uplink may be unreliable, this is unfortunately largely out of our hands.
Hi excellent video to learn from. I can't fill the TORA value and the txt in MCDU is not crisp, how to fix that can someone help, although is support item Thanks Dylan
Hi there, the TORA value will be suggested to you, as long as you've filled out your departure completely in the FMS. As for the blurry text; if you're on PC please download the Enhancement pack from the MSFS Marketplace. If you're on Xbox, the next update will have higher resolution textures
The only thing that makes me kind of frustrated about A310 is the fuel and balance, you can't realistic board the passengers like FBW A20X, it's just a button that instant fuel and board the plane...you really should work on a realistic option of time to do this part.
True, instead of instant apply, have two buttons for "Refueling" and "Onboarding". It can be either instant or realistic slow increase of weight and number of passengers to desired values, like it's done with IRS alignment.

There doesn't seem to be any problem running the APU without turning on inner tank pump 2 on, is this a lack of realism, is it optional, or what?

When I enter my simbreif username and try to call up my Flightplan I just get "pending" . Anyone have a solution to that ?

Optimize it. 80fps in Pmdg 737, 60 in fenix a320, 25 in the a310. What’s going on?

@@iniBuilds thanks for this. I found out about the issue, and I can confirm that my plane just loads in 10 seconds and it did even the first time
@@iniBuilds This is interesting. I get about the same FPS as the PMDG 73+fenix a320. actually-if anything, the ini a310 is marginally faster.
I find that some of the writing is blury like most of the fms buttons are blury is it me or it the sim
