Not to split hairs, but this isn’t a review. It’s a demo by a Kiesel endorsee. That’s not a slam on the guitar though. I own one too and it’s a top-shelf instrument. A lot of bang for the buck and I would buy another in a heartbeat.
That's true but for me it was more useful than a review; I already know that Kiesels are really high quality, but hearing how these pickups could sound in the hands of a great player was a revelation; I've seen people saying these pickups are harsh, and now I know not to worry about that; they sound fantastic!
Great review and demo. Really appreciate the sound demo with no overshadowing effects (though it sounds beautiful whatever it's run through). All of you amazing players love your Kiesel Axes and it shows so why not endorse an amazing machine by a stand-up company who doesn't gouge for blood? Thank you and thank Jeff. There are people who have genuine complaints about the company; they're not perfect, and it's silly to act like anyone who would complain is just a drama queen. The fact is the company obviously has some problems with their customer service. Everybody has silly trolls and haters, but I'm talking about people who are fans of the brand and put their money on the line; thousands of their own dollars, and are reporting ridiculous experiences such as being ghosted. In one case, the buyer was told that they wouldn't be able to change something about their build when they called in a day after ordering, and was told that their order hadn't been started yet. The person who said it, nevertheless insisted that it was too late to change it. They claimed that although the only thing they had produced thus far was an invoice; changing the invoice would be such a hassle for them that "we'd never get any guitars out the door" if they allowed people to make a change after the order has been taken. So they expected the customer paying thousands of dollars for a unique build that hadn't been started yet to buy that allowing them to change the order, meaning they would have to do away with one invoice and replace it with a new one (disaster, I know), would simply throw the company into utter chaos and they'd be on the road to ruin if they failed to hold the line and insist on giving him a guitar that wasn't quite what he wanted, because... a piece of paper would be wasted. Yeah but anybody who would complain about that is just being unreasonably negative.
ah.... the same 2 licks from joss. that eric johnson pentatonic run and that alternate picking run from top string to bottom. dont get me wrong it's mechanically amazing but holy shit it's 95% of what he plays
i have both, if i could only have one it would be a Vader because i like the sound of the neck position pickup on neckthru guitars over boltons, the neck heel is also more comfy on a Vader and you have better tuning peg access! if you play in the "classical position" and you want a "Trem" you might want to go Osiris, it could be possible for some people to bump the tuners with the inside of your leg on a Vader.

Really been thinking about getting one of these with some slightly different specs
Sweet! Have an antique ash one being made.
Thanks for the great demo; it's really helpful for trying to figure out what pickups I want in my next guitar!

I have serious questions about that bridge

That and a few sweep picking arpeggios right after if he's got the time, I agree...
But they sound so good!! I am trying to pull off the tabs but i am struggling
great job cheers!
Didn't he use to be on Andertons channel??
Rob Ferrell yup, his own channel is Guitar Bros Demos.
I'm torn between the Osiris and the Vader....I see that you've done videos with both. If you could only have one, which one and why?
@@wirtsleg340 Vader is a neck through, Osiris is a bolt on. So, definite difference.
