Do they come with this little bag to packing the glasses? Ps. I'm an English student (I can't express myself very well) but I love your pronunciation 💗
I'm a retired optician and just there's nothing wrong with the Sojo glasses you got except that they aren't available as prescription glasses. You said that you're planning on getting contacts in the near future and nothing wrong with that, even though as an optician i'm not a huge fan of contacts for many reasons, mostly because pretty much everyone abuses them by wearing them many more hours than they should be worn, improper cleaning of their contacts and forgetting to take them before going to bed. Before getting contacts you need to know that you will be require to get yearly eye exams before you will be allowed to order contacts for the next year. As you know this something you aren't required to do wearing glasses. Why do you need the yearly eye exam to continue wearing contacts? Yes in part it's so the doctor can determine if you need your prescription changed or not. The real main reason is so the doctor can check the health of your eyes more frequently because contact can cause damage to your eyes. They can cause eye infections, eye ulcers and even cause blood vessels to grow into the sides of your eyes. Wearing glasses will never cause any of these or any other eye problems. Anyway it's not a good idea to have your eyes looking through 2 sets of lenses in front of them for long hours everyday. So since you're going to be wearing glasses quite often everyday because of the blue light blocking protection you're wanting wouldn't it better and easier to have your prescription in your glasses along with the blue light blocking coating? Something that may surprise you is that for about what you paid for the Sojo glasses without prescription you can get a pair of really cute and attractive glasses every bit as nice as what you got from Sojo which would include your prescription as well as the blue light blocking coating you want. There are number of very good on-line glasses sites out there including Firmoo, Eye Buy Direct and my favorite Zenni Optical (zenni.com) Zenni for example has a very nice selection of glasses that includes single vision lenses for $6.95. I have placed a number of orders for people that got the $6.95 glasses and they are very good quality. But Zenni has hundreds more for under $13.00. The blue light blocking coating is an option which they call "Blokz" and it's an additional $16.95, shipping is $5.00. So you can have a great looking pair of glasses in your prescription with the blue blocking coating and shipping for $29.00. There is no point in wearing glasses over your contacts when you can have everything you want in your glasses. By the way I first became aware of these sites about 17 years ago when several of my female opticians and optical assistants started ordering extra glasses and prescription sunglasses from these sites. Needless to say at first I was very concerned and skeptical about these sites and how accurate the prescriptions were, so I insisted that they all let me check their glasses to see how accurate the prescriptions were to my girls needs. As it turned out in every case the prescriptions were very accurate. So i wrote the names of the sites I liked the best for my own use and I have ordered well over a hundred pairs of glasses for my own family as well as many many friends and even several of my former patients. And no if you're wondering if I get some form of compensation from Zenni or any of these sites the answer is no. Don't forget they also do prescription sunglasses. For sunglasses all you do is select the glasses from the regular line of glasses that you think would make great looking sunglasses and add on the sunglass tint you want which is only $5.00. If you're interested all you need is 2 things, a copy of your glasses prescription and you need to ask them to include your PD measurement< PD measurement is the distance between your pupils in millimeters. You may enjoy just going to their site and doing a virtual try session.
@@mimir6900 I am afraid I don't get the title of being a doctor. An optician is not a doctor although they do nearly the same things as a doctor does in many ways. An optician, like I was, can do many functions of an eye exam. I did many hundreds of pre-eye exams to determine the starting point for the doctor to safe the doctor much time in the actual exam. My pre- exams were often exactly what the ended up writing as the patients prescription. I also assisted with finding the right frame for patients glasses and di the fitting of the the glasses as well. But i just wanted to be clear about the difference between an optometrist and an optician. Now I assume that since you wear prescription glasses you wear your glasses when you're doing computer work currently and your current prescription glasses don't have the blue light protection on them which was why you ordered the "SOJO" glasses with that are blue light blocking glasses. Getting contacts and then wearing both contact lenses as well as glasses over the top of your glasses really isn't a great idea and not really very good for your eyes either. You really don't want to force your eyes to be seeing all day long through 2 sets of lenses in front of them. I'm guessing that you would have been just fine continuing wearing glasses doing your computer work if they had the blue light blocking coating on them. Sadly you have already had the "SOJO" glasses way too long to return them but in the long run even if you jst put those "SOJO" glasses in their case and put them in drawer and forgot you eever had them it woud be better for you in the long run to skip getting contacts jsut so you can wear those glasses. A contact exam and fitting is going to cost around $125.00 or more and the contacts aren't cheap either, especially if you have astigmatisms because the contacts to correct astigmatisms are about 3 times more expensive than regular contacts are. I urge you to check out the glasses in the Zenni site.
Duh! I just went back and looked at several of your previous videos and surprise surprise what did I find? I found a video you posted almost a year ago when you in fact ordered prescription glasses from Zenni. Now to be fair at the time when you placed your order I don't thin Zenni had started offering the blue light coating. Anyway since you have used Zenni before you're already a pro at ordering your own glasses so it shouldn't be difficult at all to include the Blokz coating.
Such a cute look!!
it is more pretty and nice when you wear the cute glasses, i also love the sojos brand glasses, their style is so cool
I really really love the third one! And look amazing on you!😍
me too ! i also love the third one, can we get any coupon from Thrifty or Sojos company?
May i ask how you got sojo to send you glasses I really want to build a review channel
I wish I knew myself. Lol. I think it's because I've done glasses reviews in the past or because I post pictures of myself in glasses.
