It is an ancient ritual, in the Vedic tradition to start the day with. These are the mantras for that ritual. Very soon we will release a instruction video on how to do Guru Puja.
When you are showered so much by the Guru with his knowledge, experience, love, blessings, when you are showered by him, with overflowing gratitude, you don’t know what to do! So you offer whatever you have at his feet. That is the way the tradition of Guru Pooja started. In Vedic tradition this is the oldest ritual. Parvati, Adi Shakti is the first disciple. The moment she was excited with the experience of Shiva, in that extraordinary gratitude she fell at Mahadeva’s feet and offered whatever she had at Mahadeva’s feet. So the first Guru Pooja started. The first initiation is Shiva Sutras ( Shiva’s techniques for Enlightenment). The first sacred ritual is Guru pooja. The first Stotra is Guru Geeta. The overflowing gratitude, you pour yourself at the feet of the Master. There is no logical reason for why Guru Pooja is done. It is an emotional feeling connection. For some people it looks like ‘why should I do it’. For some people it is life. I know for millions of my disciples, morning satsang is much more important than eating food. This is bliss dose. It is life itself. So please understand, it is one’s individual emotion. One more thing I want to tell you, do all this only if you feel intensely connected, not otherwise. It should not be done as a ritual. Your mind itself should feel it. Out of ecstasy and joy you should be pouring it.

I love this so much it amazing!!!! I don't know what he is saying, (( I just noticed in another comment above a link to the full transcript with meaning, so I'll look into it after) it's so very wonderful I just listen to his vocal beauty and it almost doesn't matter that I don't know, the essence of him is so divine)) but the way his voice is so velvet like soothing, it reminds me one time I had my alarm set to classical music station and I woke up to the sound of a violin, but it was the sound of it, like Indian music, it was so beautiful, dreamy...I bet he is a dream to be around! the way he speaks, is almost like trance like I just love it it's definitely audio food for my soul!!! I'm nervous....lol...He has the most beautiful smile i've ever seen...and everyone is so bless-edly Bliss-ed out!!!! There was a time in the beginning when i could not understand him at all.....I would get frustrated and just watch one of your videos about him instead.....but something happened, I understand everything he's saying! Once in a while I still may not understand from time to time but with patience and just listening I can't believe it!! I love the way he rolls his "R"'s when he talks....His energy is just beaming....how could i not want to go...My family situation prevents me from going but maybe someday when my parents are in heaven and i have no family left I would instantly get a one way ticket ! I see a massive difference in you!!! His light is beaming through you so bright!!! He took you to your most radiant optimal health and you glow now....I wish I could just melt like butter into bliss...Blessings dear One!!!

also, what would be great is to make a full video of the complete puja so we can train ourselves. i do have the booklet but it s easier to memorize the 'sequence' when seen than read. i d like to be able to do it as soon as i get all the little puja dishes...nithyanandam!
