I needed this; I have been struggling with weight, abuse, and my walk with Christ, especially continuing going through this abuse. I am glad; I found you.
You give some excellent tips for anyone who is studying the Bible. Journaling causes us to actually interact with the Word instead of simply reading it to check off a box. When we interact with the Word, we interact with God, which will change and grow us. Keep it up. I look forward to watching more of your videos.
I love your journaling style! I'm an artist and Holy Spirit graciously led me to design the cover art for a blank journal based on scripture! The link to the journal is in the "about" section on my channel. I want to support anyone who wants to continue/get into this lovely faith journaling habit with a Christian brand in Jesus' name !💙
A friend of mine shared your link on facebook yesterday, I have been so lost since my husband got out of the Army in 2014 I use to be with a wonderful group of ladies for bible studies and since we moved back to my husbands home state I haven't been able to find a church that is any where near what I am use to. So here I am having God pull at my heart strings telling me open your bible you need me. So I've been watching your video's and am very pleased with the content That I myself will be Bullet Journaling as of January 1st. Thank You so much for making these videos.

Hi, WordNerd. I must say that you're a Word Wonder! Thank you for creating this video. I am just beginning to take the plunge with creating my own prayer book/prayer journal. Your smarts, your intelligence and your calligraphy shines through beautifully. You've simply helped me to really get organized and not be overwhelmed with this project. I love the examples that you shared in your own journal using a key, symbols, color coordination and specific topics. I think I can start now, thanks to you. Happy journaling. Hope you make more videos on this subject.🥰🤗📕📖❤
Another encouraging and inspiring video, Andrea. Thanks so much! Now, to look for the journal I can use for this, esp. since the new year will start soon. God bless you!
I love to journal which is why I published a journaling book "Journaling the Journey with Jesus". It was an amazing experience because God spoke to me every step of the way as I wrote each day with scripture and an encouraging word and at the end of the week, it has a review so you can look back and see just how wonderful God has been. I mean, in these times of uncertainties and so much going on around each of us, we all could use something to journal our thoughts, dreams, visions, feelings or whatever else God has shared with us. you can find my video here titled Journaling the Journey with Jesus along with links if you decide to purchase. thank you for sharing this!
You just gave me an idea. Brown = KJV, Green = NASB, Black = NKJV, Blue = ESV. The colors match up with the actual color of the Bible I would be referencing, except the blue because my ESV is also a black Bible. So, I think I will assign a number to the note in the Bible I am using, then transfer that number over to my journal, using the color assigned. That sounds easier than what I was thinking about trying for 2020 (I won't even go there!). As soon as you mentioned using a color key, this system entered my mind. Thank you for the help! God bless you, and Happy New Year!
I really appreciated your examples here - thank you for the video, for the inspiration, and for your willingness to share your personal mediations on scripture and your prayers to God! Just a quick note though - at about 6:00, you said you regret not dating this page - but I see it in the second bit of orange writing - “this day I vow 11-18-19 …”. So unless that date is for something else, you have it there! ^_^
I think your handwriting is lovely. Those are very impressive binders. I can only aspire to reach your level of dedication. I have subscribed and look forward to following your journey. Blessings.....
Thank you so much for this upload I constantly strugglewothnusing different journals for different things..one for prayer one for journalling thoughts, one for writing scripture....and it gets overwhelming to juggle or to even find anything...I never thought about using a different colour for different things in one journal (even tho I colour code in my bible). And I ove the freedom in saying if it doesnt work that's ok...find something else. Thank you😊
@@ladylexusis350 ohhh, sorry. 😆 lol Journal means like I write what I'm doing, how I'm feeling, what's going on that day. I guess like regular journaling.
I will be making a video kinda on that but a question to start with is what is your goal for ur reading plan? You can have a weekly reading plan on a topic, or maybe a monthly plan to read a whole book, or a yearly plan to read the entire Bible. For me right now for daily reading I'm following a yearly chronological reading plan so I finish reading the entire Bible in 1 year. For studying I study what ever I feel God is pulling me to or im interested in to know more about or understand better. Hope that helps! Like I said a video shud be coming soon more on this subject! 😊
@@TheWordNerd Thank you for responding. I'll look into a chronological reading plan. I'm a born again Christian but still a beginner. I'm just a little overwhelmed where to begin when selecting a reading plan.
@@kerimurphy4240 i would love to continue this conversation to encourage and guide you more. Can you message me on Instagram?😊 If you have not read the new testament all the way through, start there.

So glad it inspired and encouraged yoi!
What do others do wit their completed journals? Do you keep them and if so do you index them to review? or do you destroy them?
I keep them, and store them by dates 😊
When you mentioned in the key journal for clarity does this mean the subject your writing about? 💖
Key is for separation of different things you might write down, like scripture and prayer. A key would identify them as such.
@@TheWordNerd I was taking about in your key you wrote journal. I wanted clarity on that.

If you have not read the new testament all the way through, start there.
What markers and pens are you using?
Sharpie pen, papermate felt tip pen, micron pens. Tomboy duel brush markers, crayola markers.
I think that's all lol
Good video but too complicated for me. Not what I had in mind
