Its a pre production model and that clarifies why it is in golden color as z2 doesnt come in golden color for buyers ! Plus base model will have touch screen infotainment system too! But the best part is that they retain that coffee tone interior with base model as well, many people who booked lower variant were worried that they might use black plastic , but its good to see the color scheme is intact and is same as Top variant, yes of course there would be no soft touch , base model buyer anyways knows that they wont get any soft touch material!
It’s not just the base variant… all variants below Z8 will be deprived of soft touch materials, and many other essential features such as allow wheels, projector lamps, push-button start, etc. as they only come in Z8 and above, which is a shame in this price range.

The only value for money is the Z8 ......how is base model value for money when you can buy better suvs like creta or venue with better features at the price..it lacks safety,looks or accessories at 12+ lakhs that is not value for money

Good video bhai. Was waiting to see the interiors of Z2 variant. I have booked a Z2 diesel. First 25k mein booked. Now lucky or unlucky only time will tell. First batch of Mahindra cars always have quality issues. Maybe thats why the discounts haha. Will be checking the vehicle at PDI and test drive it. If it feels underpowered or the power steering is shit, will cancel the booking. Few suggestions though, see if you can convey it to Manindra ;-) 1. Why not a 5 seater version for scorpio N like the one available for XUV700 (MX5 variant i guess) Anyways the third row space is less and second row seats do not slide forward. Many people will be using this as a 5 seater car only. Why carry the additional dead weight all the time when not needed for such people? You can save on the seat cost and instead give fog lamps, crome grill or folding orvms instead. With the rear seat not being present, the weight will reduce atleast by 20-25 kg and we can also get better fuel milage. Especially for the petrol engines, wtih single digit economy figures. 2.Why detune the engines for Z2 and Z4 manual variants? Its is just not understandable. Really stupid to do that. 3. Why hydraulic power steering in these models? Who gives hydraulic power steering in 2022? Its heavy and affects fuel efficiency as the power steering pump is driven by the engine constantly. Again outright stupid. 4. The middle seat cup holders are wierd. They should be horizontal to each other rather than vertical as the elbow rests on the back side of the armrest and the second cup cavity will make it uncomforatable to rest ones arms properly. No other car manufacturer gives vertical cup holders. Please do share this feedback with Manindra if possible.
Mahindra will not deliver z2 varient... Yeah in 2025 u will get but u have to take 1 lacs accessories from the dealership then u will get your car otherwise it's difficult
Pls share complete details while making the video like Diesel or Petrol Variant… Is this production piece or not and why things are different than as mentioned in brochure… small details still missing like ovrm adjustment etc. This video has further added to confusion. What would be the final Z2 Petrol product - God only knows !!
