My current setup is Onix alpha and Hidiz mp145 (also has the Delci AE) that I've learned about from your reviews and I’m very satisfied, do you think this GR40 will give the mp145 the tube effect? Didn’t really had a chance to expirience to this kind of sound.. or maybe Fosi Audio MC331? or xDuoo MH-02? i'm kind of lost in this area. Thank you!

hello andy, i'm still new in this audio stuffs, so i hope you can explain it to me in layman terms. is this desktop dac amp will be able to power others famous headphone such as sennheiser, beyerdynamic and so on. so far i only have hifiman He400Se which is my very first planar magnetic headphone. or do you have any recommendation for other desktop dac amp which is more "wallet friendly". thanks in advance andy!
I have a Cayin ru7 at 300 mw seems powerful enough but has some warm color on the low end I really enjoy. Does this tube amp offer a more warm organic sound as I that is why I would get such? I did not sense that as a particular strength of this amp.
Warm sound? this GR40 is not exactly warm like some other tube amps. But you can tune the Bass/Treble to a point that it becomes warm by cranking the Bass 2 clicks + and Treble 2 clicks -. It will be colored but it will be as warm as you can get. I would say MUSEHIFI M5 Ultra is warmer by default
@ that is dangerous water you are stepping into, I stop after finding out much more competent pairings are available for speakers like the Linear Power Supply thing, and earthing device and cables and never ending 🙈

HE400SE is less demanding than Sundara or HD600, so you will be okay there. FT1 also seems to be efficient as well, no worries

For under $100, I would recommend AKLIAM PD6, but you will need to run it on 4.4mm BAL. For SE, this GR40 is also suitable

In this video I have mentioned that it can drive Sundara which is a little harder to drive than HE400SE, so yes no problem there

I have blon bl03 i want to upgrade iem so please suggest me best iem under 120 dollar and or 70 80 dollars both price points
I f you like BL03 then I think you will find LETSHUOER S08 to your liking. Better tuned overall vs BL03

Is it worth buying something more expensive than this DAC Amp, for 32 Ohm headphones, or is it a waste of money?
32 Ohms, as mentioned in this video is perfect to be used with this GR40, especially if you are running only 3.5mm SE connection
