I watched it when I was a kid with my little brother, but it was removed from Netflix _as we were watching it_ . We had just gotten to book 3 and the show just disappeared!
We'd been waiting for it to come back or for some other way to watch it to pop up for years. When it came back to Netflix we freaked out and immediately began watching it!

This was a fun beach day episode and an eye opener too. It wasnt just happy. It was actually pretty sad. It showed how distraught Zuko was. Being conflicted with his emotions. It showed Azula being jealous of normal teenagers and Ty Lee with their ability to be normal. She was jealous of Ty Lee because she was being swarmed with boys as they found her hot. She got invited to a party at night and brought Mai, Zuko and Azula along. Azula got a crush on this guy and acted crazy with him. Scaring him away as war was her entire life. She had never felt loved by others. She loved it when she was feared and controlled with that fear others have for her. So she didn't know how to love. Only how to intimidate. She felt confused. Zuko and Mai were sort of arguing. Having problems with the party and each other. Azula then proposed that the four of them should trash the place. Did. And then left. Later they were all conflicted. Ty Lee was distraught but i forgot why. Something to do with others judgement is what it may have been. Zuko and Mai were arguing and became hostile to each other. And Azula was confused with why her propsal of bringing war and ruling together with the guy she asked out went horribly wrong. They were all feeling damaged from their lives of war and insecurities. It was a really eye opening episode. Not just a fun beach day. But knowing how bright and cheerful these videos are it makes sense why you skipped past that. As it wasn't very bright and cheerful in the end. It was sad and real. Showing the cracks that their lives had. It built up to Azula's emotional breakdown, Zuko joining team Avatar, and Mai and Ty Lee's betrayal in the prison arc
This guy makes better SFX with his voice than the crappy CGI in the movie adaptation.

After growing up, I feel like zuko had been in so much expectations, that he forgot the purpose of his life. I am happy writers did him well.

I am just speachless about how mature and amazing this show is I mean the war for power, people suffering, refugees,the emotions,the characters are so amazing inspiring and if you take out the bending you can totally relate it to the real world. the writers of this show have so precisely written each scene and character it's just amazing I can't explain in words but each episode and scene is mwah and the places shown like ba sing se north pole and the air bending temples etc were beautifully designed and the character development is everything i mean I hated zuko in the first book but in the end he was everything to me.

Take this one for example. 10 years ago (or more, I don't know) I would never have watched anything related to The Last Airbender. I wasn't interested. Now along comes the funniest recapper ever and I just can't wait to see what the show was about, cause his interests are just like mine and he tells stories in such a delightful way.

I always forget Mark Hamill voiced Fire Lord Ozai. Such an amazing show that still holds up today on teaching awesome messages in a short duration of each episode while truly feeling deep, while light hearted all at the same time. I just want to say, like everyone else, I probably wouldn’t even be watching half these recaps, you do an amazing job recapping so much info in such a fun way! Cheers man 👍
