    European model of SM much more beautiful than the USA model.

      Yes, and the lighting system not only looks better, but is far superior, too. Thanks for commenting and watching my videos, Jose!

      @@josecarvalho9388 Yes it is. They were expensive and parts and mechanics for both the Citroen systems and the Maserati motor are hard to find in the States.

    Apologies if I've missed a post pointing this out, but it was the Maserati Merak that that got the SM engine and box.

    Was he surprised with your knowledge of the car? I agree with Dave, that I think I have only seen pics of these in gold, was glad you added the link to another color. I think that in the movie with Burt Reynolds, "The Longest Yard" that they referred to the car as a Maserati (I could be wrong with the movie title).

      Great memory, briefman49!! That was a painful clip, as he had the suspension set on high most of the time... and the end!!!! Ouch!!!!! Here is the link: ruclips.net/video/2zS1SJhQSlQ/видео.html

    Ah, yes... my dream car - with the European headlights. If I only had a "garagiste" to take good care of one for me.
    Comment: the audio mentioned that the Maserati "equivalent" was the Bora... I beg to disagree. The Bora had a V8 motor of the same configuration, but it was the Merak that had the same V6 motor. Oh what a sound!

    • @carshowreporter
      @carshowreporter  4 года назад

      Thanks for the correction, Ernesto!!!! I hope you win the lottery so you can hire a garagiste and buy an SM!
