God that Devils team was so damn good, but in a duel between Roy and Brodeur, Roy will always come on top, especially in the playoffs. At least we got back and won in 2003, otherwise we would forever regret blowing a 3-2 series lead
Our Devils won so there they did not make it. Hell, NHL Network re-runs EVERYTHING they make..however they showed BRODEUR: A Winner Abve All" and it ran only twice....ONLY.
Felony Strutter why? Just why? The team is dead now, they can rise again but it’ll be a long rebuild to do that. The Avs were that way too, rules apply just saying, if the goals are disallowed then there is a reason. Sometimes it’s unfair, but nothing we can do about it. Sports aren’t a democracy. The Avs won fair and square, it was an amazing effort by the devils but they failed to accomplish. Accept that, that was 18 years ago. Be happy with what you do have, a team that moved from Colorado who were atrocious and became the devils. They have a few cups, but being bitter over the Avs beating you is beating a dead horse after it’s turned into a fossil. There’s plenty of Avs downfalls I could be angry about but I’m happy they can even make the playoffs. I’m 22 in May and I started watching since 2005, the worst era in Avalanche history. Post lockout. Am I complaining that my team sucked? Not really, I’m looking forward not back. I watch things like this to remind me, that anything is possible. I’m not saying to quit being a loyal fan, not at all,but stop looking back and thinking they were the best team ever, they weren’t, the Avs weren’t, there were plenty of teams better than both of them. This sounds harsh and I apologize but I’m just trying to shed a light. No use in being upset by issues that happened YEARS ago lol. My first playoff experience was Avs vs Mighty Ducks on my 9th birthday, we lost 5-0 and I’m still a Ducks fan lol we lost that series in a sweep... but I have no ill will towards the Ducks. I honestly feel bad for the Wings, their suffering should be a happy time but, I’m actually sad. Great teams are falling. Currently, we should look forward and think highly of our teams, they need us for the confidence boosts, who knows we may meet in the finals again... maybe you’ll win this time!
I remember this series like it was yesterday. One of the best Stanley Cup finals ever.
Dan Hinote's forecheck that leads to Tanguay's first goal was so underrated
Hinote was a great role player
They should have used the Thorne/Clement commentary

We still regret it big time. What are you talking about? Lol
@@Dave-oz9qh Yeah but it eases the blow when you win a cup only 2 years later
39:11 how come they don’t use that tunnel anymore that’s cool looking
Literally.
Do you have the 2003 eastern conference finals to upload by chance?

I'd like to watch that too. That Senators/Devils series was so much better than the Stanley Cup final that year
Do you have the following games:
1) 1996 World Cup Semi Finals -- Canada v. Sweden
2) 1998 Nagano Olympics -- Canada vs. USA
No sorry i dont, but i will look for them
Gomez GM6 first goal NEVER should have been disallowed and then the Colorado Refs stepped in
Felony Strutter typical and it’s Toronto that makes the main calls
He clearly kicked the puck in.
It was in New Jersey. How could it be the "Colorado Refs"
