- KATOのE259系成田エクスプレスを購入したので早速開封しました。
今や一目見ただけでロングセラーの再生産品と分かってしまうぐらい定番イメージが強いです。
東海道線や横須賀線を走る車両を揃えたくて今回購入に至りました。
普段は通勤中に周りの風景に溶け込んでいるぐらい見慣れている車両で実車に乗車したことは無いですが、
スポット当てて見るとカッコいいと思わせる車両で乗車してみたくなります。
一つ気になるのは特急券のお値段で始発の大船駅から東京駅まで乗車するのに特急湘南と比較して
割高なのが乗車を拒んでいます。
成田空港までの輸送を主としているので致し方がないのかもしれないですが...

Hello, I got mine a few days after that but I'm having trouble installing the decoder. The engine decoder sadly didn't work for me.
Do you know how the decoder has to be installed? (Like how to open up the train and put in the decoder, I let a modeltrain store try to install it)
And which decoder is supposed to be used for those? I bought the EM13 decoder which was in the book (I also bought the decoder for the headlights, FL12 I believe)

Sorry, I recently purchased DCC,
I'm too busy to put on a decoder yet.
I haven't even connected DCC.
I'm about to start researching DCC.
Although it has not been installed in the vehicle yet,
The decoder for electric train type motor vehicles is EM13,
FL12 is for head/tail lights.
I also bought them.
僕もE259系持っています。つい最近幕張のポポンデッタで同じく手持ちの253系6両と連結させて12両編成で走らせました
