Good evening and thank you, AFV, for sharing this amazing video i've just seen. It's my pleasure to listen to my favorite "Colchester Castle" and the new "Blaze away", and to see my favorite Irish Guards! I spotted a "young Coldstreamer", lovely little Frank!! My Best wishes for a fabulous 2025🎉🥂
Great video coldstream band march played were: (Went To Windsor) -0:24=Colchester Castle -3:36=Blaze Away -5:21=Red Man's -6:10=British Grenadiers (Return To Barracks) -6:36=Punichello -7:50=Glorious Victory (Great🎉) -10:25=Gladiators Farewell Good afternoon sir, nice day, last month I saw that the snare drum that used to be a major officer has now been replaced by a bass drum, fun fact hihihi.😊
Another fun fact :-). (Professional) percussionist are not joined at the hip with a certain instrument. So it's common practice when in marching band formation they are all assigned to a different instrument every time. The only exception is that the tympany player does only one thing, playing the tympany and being the group leader.
Oh that's it, they will continue to play different musical instruments, thank you for the info, happy new year 2025, I hope you are well, God is always there for you, may you be blessed by the Almighty, amen.😊🎉🙏
Good Evening MAJESTY KING CHARLES III ❤️ London ❤️ huge support, Long live long live, lot of kisses, sublime parade, magnificent, lot of émotions touched & moved all the congratulations 👏👏👏👍👏👏👏, god Bless 👑🙏🇬🇧❤️🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
Great recording, thanks so much. I have a percussion related question? Why don’t the guards bands in particular play a drum beat/solo in between each march? Like say the Royal Marines do? It must be exhausting constantly playing? I know there is only one (sometimes two) side drums. Is that the reason maybe? Thanks in advance.
Watching from the USA NYC ❤
