I'm new to the channel. I've been interested in leather work from the first time I saw a video of someone making a wallet, I've wanted to make a wallet for quite some time now and coming across your channel has given me the little push I needed to finally get started thanks to your video "how to start leather crafting". I would love to see another detailed video on how to make a guitar strap. I would love to make my own at some point and I have found your recent videos very clear and detailed on how to make whatever item you are showing without making it sound complicated, I'm sure there are countless videos on how to make leather guitar straps but for the reasons I've listed above I would love to see a tutorial from you on how to do it.

I've heard you mention 3 oz leather in a handful of your videos now. I typically see it referred to as 2-3 oz or 3-4 oz in any online listing. Which do you mean when you say 3 oz? As always, thank you for the videos! I've been learning so much :)

Love the color of the outside… inside. Not so much… that inside color is too Orange for me… I LOVE the wallet design though! I’m wanting to make a phone wallet for myself and I’m debating on which to do… one when I can just toss my phone in like this one, or one that have a side for the case to snap on… I may just make both and then see which one i use more of lol…
I’m wondering what size cell phone this pattern fits or perhaps i did something wrong because my iPhone 7 is way too big to fit in this. Perhaps This is a base pattern to be sized to fit different cell phones?

I believe this one is novolene, but you can get different materials - commonly referred to as "poundo board". Good luck with your leathercraft journey!
OLD LEATHER SMITH here, I congratulate the young lady on her design it's very useful,, I have a suggestion, on your gusset before folding spray, spong, or use your fingers 2 put sopey water on the fold, it will fold easier and stay better, GOD'S BLESSINGS ✝️⚾🙃

I really want to make a carry-on sized leather duffel but the design ha been giving me some trouble. One that is built regulation for airplane travel in the USA. That would be a brilliant build to watch if you are still looking for video ideas
This is beautiful, the colour of that Italian leather is gorgeous. I made my partner one similar but instead of the gusset pouch (because I am not that skilled) I sandwiched a super thin metal plate inbetween the face layers that the magnetic phone case lays over. I was surprised at how well the case magnet stuck to the plate, turned out really well.
I have been working on this cell phone wallet all weekend and have to say that miter corner gusset can sure test one’s patience. As with everything I’m sure it will get better With practice. Nice pattern I love your style!
Beautiful work. I'd love to see something like this done vertically, with a coin pouch instead of card slots, and a strap, to make it sort of a crossbody bag.

Hi, I bought the pattern but I have a question regarding the 'floating' pocket middle section. What is the value of it floating? i.e. does it make a difference in practice if the pockets are sewn directly to the liner? Thank you.
I mentioned in the video if you'd like you can sew it to the liner on one side. If you sew both sides you can't use the compartment for bills and receipts but you could do that if you wanted to as well

A wrist cuff/bracelet with a snap fixture is simple enough to get started, as well as get some stitching practice in.
Can you add a strap to this for a minimal purse? If so how would it be added?
