  • A few pointers and tips about the square version of an intex tub. “94” inches in length. That’s corner to corner. Otherwise it’s closer to 70in L x W. The cover is 2 layers thick which maybe good for insulation but hard and awkward to handle in my opinion. Get pool grade SALT! Needs it for the chlorine system it has!!! I put in a table spoon in every other day.

    It looks like the industry measures it like a TV. That's bull. Especially when you fork out the extra bucks for a "94" inch one and you expect to get one that is 94" outside dia. side to side, not corner to corner. I Can't believe NO ONE else has mentioned this in their descriptions on their RUclips videos. Thank You.

      If it’s anything like the one in my video, there’s two parts, the inflatable pool toy square portion. And the actual cover itself do not inflate the cover. Although it does have a nipple open it, so air goes inside, but it does not need to be pumped up.

    • @jeffsullivan5161

      @@MA-gq7bl you have to muscle that cover off and on every time you use the hot tub? I inflated it, is is designed to keep the air fill caps open?

    • @MA-gq7bl

      Only the inflatable with handles needs actual air. The massive cover needs a few hours to expand a tiny bit so open the nipple. But do not actually inflate the large cover with any sort of pump.

    I can't see how the cover works. I guess the white thing they call the bladder floats on top of the water. That crazy cover doesn't line up at all with the buckles on the pool. I can probably get away with using it in the summer with the bladder only.

      We actually reached out to Intex yesterday about the problems we are having with getting our free chlorine levels correct. We started out be adding the amount of salt that they had recommended in the manual when we started it up. I have gotten all the other levels good now but nothing registers for Free Chlorine. Intex was absolutely no help! I gave them the model numbers of what we purchased and they informed me that Intex does not make a hot tub that you can add salt to!!!! I told her my entire manual explains how this tub is saltwater and the box it was shipped in says saltwater system on it!! But she insisted that Intex does not make a saltwater hot tub!!! So they were NO help what so ever!! Also I was told that the Representative’s supervisor was fuming because she was talking to me for over a half hour and there was nothing Intex would do for me because they do not make what I am telling her we bought!!! But yet I can go on multiple websites and find this hot tub!!

      Make sure your display isn’t locked - If the lock symbol is green, it’s locked. The blue WiFi light blinks very slowly once on. If you have the Intex app, you should see your tub’s signal easily after you hold the WiFi button down long enough for the blue light to come on. Hard part is connecting to the same 2G WiFi network as your phone - if you have 5G signal also, it will interfere. Owners manual describes quite well how to deal with first-time WiFi set up and has “trouble-shooting” for it also.

    We’ve had this same spa for about 2 weeks. We had to add a lot of pool salt (and run the 3 hr sanitization cycle each time, and rinse out the intake filter) to get our chlorine levels to test ok with the strips. Regarding the “insulative cover” for the top, we mostly inflated the center part but not fully (still soft), and very minimally inflated the bottom/sides part, and after it relaxed for a week, it’s now quite easy to take on and off. I do wish it worked with the clips on the sides of the tub itself, because they claim it’s “secure” and safe for children, but yet they no longer have clips or a key for it. And our cover came with no instructions. The instructions in our owners manual are clearly for an older version of the top cover.

      @jacquelinemack3584 2 года назад

      @@nicolepettinato It is 28” deep. That’s pretty standard for inflatable spas. We’ve owned four (three round ones, now this model) and this is the largest we’ve found in the states. The 28” depth works well for both myself (5’4”) and my husband (6’). We have no complaints on the size. Just wish they made a replacement cover that clipped on like the first three inflatable spas we owned came with. The “energy-efficient cover” is cumbersome, at best.
