This song plays a big big part of my relationship with my boyfriend. Our story is a cliche one, we met when we were young. We then parted ways only to desire each other more. I really feel that the years spent apart were the best years for us for we learned to better ourselves and learned to grow that we were the best of ourselves when reunited.
We parted ways because he thought I deserved more. But when I was with someone else he realized how much he needed me. I don't have any close friends and although I have a sister we don't share that sisterly bond, so when I felt neglected by the other person I confided to him. He tried to comfort me with words but when that didn't work, he sent me this song.
I realized I wasn't over him, even after all that time apart and I realized it wasn't fair for the other person if I kept talking to my ex behind his back, no matter how he made me feel. I realized that it was I who was truly the bad guy, and I didn't want to be that anymore. So I broke it off with the other person.
