Went to Beirut in 1968. Flew Middle East Airliban. It was known as Paris of the East. Stayed at Phoenicia Hotel.
Beirut is in Lebanon and Tripoli is in Libya almost 3000 kms apart or is there separate Tripoli in Lebanon itself?
