1:20 that's probably the sweetest thing, the adult is so excited and desperate to play. Mums don't usually do that. If that's the dad, he's been raised perfectly. If you don't know adult males kill puppies in an instant. I hope it's an older male but most likely not.

M M actually, i don’t see why they’re meant to look ‘badass’, it’s up to the owner whether they want to crop the ears and tail. u should still love it regardless if it looks ‘badass’ or not, it’s called personal preference and some people think it’s cruel 🤷🏼♀️

Apparently a Doberman's tail will break easy and if the dog is used for protection, they don't want a dog that can be grabbed by the tail....as for the ears again for guard dogs they need ears that can move like a satellite and not hang down.

How friendly are Doberman dogs? I think I would be willing to give one a chance even though they scare me in the future?
Very friendly and territorial of its owner/family. Would suggest getting them comfortable around other dogs and people though. They are big and scary but attacks/fatalities from Dobermans are almost non existent.
Dobermans are very lovely but if not trained properly pose a risk to other people/dogs. Don't get one unless you are willing to spend a lot of time training him.

I miss my Doberman he bite me accident and my mom thought he bite me for real so she put him in animal controller and I tell my mom that it was accident so she said I will get him tomorrow and someone take my Doberman so I was crying like a baby screaming destroying everything

Not docking Dobermans tails is an abomination of the breed, it's bad enough when owners don't do the ears... Shame.

Very false. A doberman with standing ears means that they've been cropped and have used tape to force the ear muscles to form that way.
research before making stupid claims? You can have an opinion about anything you want but maybe learn the facts so you don't sound ignorant.
The tail belongs copied alone because of the risk of injury not to speak of aesthetics

t mac he's saying the tail needs to be cropped due to the high rate of injuries that occur to it. Doberman tails break easily and come with other problems which is why they get docked in the first place
No not in my opinion. All dogs need a tail as a counter balance when running, thats why its there. Never had any of my dogs break a tail. The reason is more aesthetic in some people belief. BTW I live in Germany, the habit of cropping ears and docting tails if forbidden anyway
Phil Stinton well there you go. It's fact against your opinion..theres a difference. But I will agree with you on one thing.. a lot of people do, do it for aesthetics. You only want to crop the tail and ears if your Doberman is going to a guard/attack dog. Other than that there is no reason to do except for the ears. It decreases the chance of infection. But a lot of people get Doberman for family dogs and not guard dogs and still get the tail cropped just for aesthetics
Jake Myers, a closed ear, ie not cropped, also reduces the chances of debris or dirt getting into the ear. My dogs have always been left the way they were born...never had a problem
