    BRO, in a case like this one, would it be ok to show the tach is not moving during crank no start and then, after repairs, show the same test, maybe disable the ignition or do a clear flood mode, crank with a no start and show if the tach actually moves on this specific vehicle if the CKP is ok and the cam crank relearn is ok, then we know to move on to a different diagnostic route. In some cars the tach moves during cranking and in some cars it does not. Maraming Salamat Po from a fan in Baguio City.

      DuaneDonald, there are some cars even the crank sensor connector disconnected it might start the engine like Nissan Patrol but in other cars it won't. Now suppose it won't start, check the spark of the ignitoon coil. If there wasn't a spark you may check the ignition coil.

      DuaneDonald, 2 b continue. Now, if cranking only, supposed there is a spark in the spark plug, 2nd is the fuel sys, what you will do is, try to spray any flammeable liquid in the throttle apart with care coz it might be backfire not to jeopardise your face. Supposed not start and cranking only, either crank or cam sensor or ecu ig fuse. Do i make myself clear.

      My story only deals with the TACH moving or not moving on a good working car or that specific vehicle never has a working TACH when cranking. This was my main concern po, can you show if a TACH moves or not, in a good scenario, if you use it as a bad test as you did in this video, then show it again as a good test pls.@@edralinbustaliniomcbautomo7707

      OPO, I am a long time diagnostician, there are lots of techs around the world who would like to see a test completed before a repair and again after a repair. If you use the TACH as a bad indicator, then pls show it again as a good indicator. If the TACH does not work on this engine when cranking on a good system, then please do not use the TACH as an indicator. My question was mainly, on this car, with a good CKP or a good cam crank learned value, and you crank the engine for a no start, does the TACH show 250 RPM on the needle, as an example, do I make myself clear po? On some cars, the TACH never moves until the engine starts, cheers.

      @@DuaneDonaldsonDid you performed a spark test or no. If there is a spark, there is a possibility to start , then your next procedure is fuel sys like i said before. If still cranking with spark and fuel are well, then you may do proper inspection of timing like zero angle from TDC to running mate of the engine valve.
